LIVE Auction for Creators

AI Summary

LIVE Auction lets eligible Affiliate Creators run seller-provided auction products during LIVE on PC or app. To access it, Creators must pass compliance, have no LIVE ban, maintain CHR > 150 and PPS > 3.5, and avoid deceptive activity. Creators can accept Auction collab invites, request samples, add products to LIVE, pin them, and start auctions; sellers control the starting bid price. Key limits: auction products are LIVE-only, countdown max is 2 minutes, and creators cannot change starting bids.

What is LIVE Auction for Creators

A Creator-facing capability that enables eligible Creators to add seller-created auction products to LIVE, pin auction products, and start an auction session during LIVE. Sellers can invite selected Creators through targeted collaboration, provide auction products, set tiered auction commissions, and maintain starting-bid price control.
Eligibility: To appear in sellers' Auction target plans, use Auction features, and access the Live Auction feature, Affiliate Creators must meet all of the following platform-level eligibility requirements:
  • Pass platform compliance checks.
  • Not be under a LIVE ban or temporary suspension.
  • Have a Creator Health Rating (CHR) > 150.
  • Have a Product Promotion Score (PPS) > 3.5.
  • Not engage in potentially manipulative or deceptive activity (see Creator Enforcement Policy).
This eligibility gate only determines whether Affiliate Creators are visible in sellers' Auction target plans and can access Auction features. It does not change the underlying enforcement policies.
LIVE Auction can be used in both LIVE Manager on PC and in the app.

LIVE Auction Best Practices

Before LIVE

Pre-LIVE Pre-heating is crucial for maximizing auction performance as it drives awareness and builds anticipation before the livestream begins. Early promotional posts across social platforms help increase engagement by raising awareness and building excitement.

Do's

Don'ts

Promote Livestreams Ahead of timeThe most common pre-heating platforms for livestream promotion include TikTok videos, community updates & posts on other social platforms, and Email/CRM channels.❌ Don’t Start an LIVE Auction Before You’re Ready to Demo the ProductAvoid starting the auction countdown before the product is pinned, clearly shown on screen, and ready to be demonstrated. Once an auction starts, you must let it run its course, so make sure viewers can see what is being auctioned, understand the key product details, and have enough context to place confident bids. Starting too early can confuse viewers, weaken bidding intent, and disrupt the auction flow.
Promote Specific Products Ahead of timePromoting specific products and exclusive discounts draws more users in and creates transparency in the product assortment before a livestream. Being specific about products and rewards can be the reason why certain viewers join your stream and consequently make a purchase!

During LIVE

Do's

Don'ts

Promote a neutral and unbiased bidding environmentMaintain fairness and transparency throughout all auctions by treating every bidder equally, clearly stating all terms and conditions upfront, and avoiding any actions that could favor specific participants. This builds trust with your community and ensures a legitimate auction experience that encourages repeat participation and positive promotion.❌ Don't offer or solicit bidsMaintain proper auction integrity by not suggesting or negotiating prices outside the formal bidding process, as this can artificially suppress final sale values. Ensure all pricing comes through legitimate competitive bidding rather than pre-arranged offers or discussions that could negatively impact the true market value of your products.
✅ Provide transparency in the bidding processClearly communicate all auction mechanics and winner selection methods to participants before and during the livestream. This openness builds credibility with your audience and reduces disputes while ensuring bidders fully understand how the auction operates and what to expect throughout the process. Please make sure you are familiar with the following policies:
  1. Auction Requirements
  2. Collectibles Policy
  3. Gambling Policy
  4. Mystery Boxes and Similar Products Policy
✅ Pin Product CardOne of the most important actions during an auction is to pin the Product Card continuously on screen, so viewers immediately know what's being auctioned when they join the livestream. Without a persistent product display, new users entering mid-auction often assume nothing is happening and leave, resulting in lost potential GMV and reduced engagement.
