Overview

Before You Begin

• Links to the infringing accounts: To find the link, go to the infringing account's profile on TikTok Shop, tap the Share button, and then tap Copy link. If you are reporting multiple links, you will need to list each one on its own line.
• Your Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) details: You will need your IPR Registration Number, IPR Registration Name, IPR infringement description, and the name of the IPR Owner.
• Supporting documents:
  • A clear written description of how the shop name or shop photo infringes upon your IP
  • Infringing TikTok Shop Account URL
  • Official IPR documentation (for example, your official trademark registration certificate, copyright registration certificate, and other relevant documentation)

Trademark Reporting Pathway

1. Access the Reporting Webform: Navigate to the official TikTok Shop Intellectual Property Reporting Webform for TikTok Shop United States of America.
2. Provide Reporter Information
   • Reporter Name: Enter your full legal name or your company's name.
   • Contact Email: Provide an active email address where our support team can reach you regarding the report status.
   • Relationship to Rights Owner: Select your role from the dropdown (for example, "I am the IPR Owner" or "I am an Authorized Representative").
3. Select Report Type: Under the Report type section, select Shop, Shop Name or Shop Photo. (Note: Do not select "Video", "Creator account", "LIVE", "Product", for storefront-level impersonation).
4. Select the Infringement Type
   • Locate the dropdown menu labeled "IPR Type".
   • Select Trademark.
5. Select the Complaint Reason
   • Trademark infringement in shop name
   • Trademark infringement in shop photo
   • Trademark infringement on both shop name and shop photo
6. Provide the Report Account: In the Report Account text box, paste the profile link(s) of the infringing account(s) you copied earlier. Remember to place each link on a separate line.
7. Describe the Infringement: In the designated description box, explain exactly how the reported shop name or shop photo infringes upon your intellectual property.
8. Enter Specific Trademark Details
   • Registration Number: Input your official trademark registration number.
   • Trademark Name: Type the exact trademark text as it appears on your official registration.
   • Name of IPR Owner: Type the name of the owner of the trademark as it appears on your official registration.
   • Registration Region/Jurisdiction: Select the country or region where your trademark is legally registered and actively enforced.
9. Upload Required Documentation
   • Click Upload File under the "Upload IPR Document" section.
   • You must attach a clear, scanned copy or high-quality image of your official Trademark Registration Certificate.
   • Note: If you are an 'Authorized Representative', you must also upload a valid Letter of Authorization (LOA). The LOA must be signed by the trademark owner and state that you can make IP complaints on their behalf.
10. Sign and Submit
    • Read the legal declaration confirming that the information provided is accurate and under penalty of perjury.
    • Type your full legal name into the Digital Signature box.
    • Click Submit to finalize your Trademark report.

Copyright Reporting Pathway

1. Access the Reporting Webform: Navigate to the official TikTok Shop Intellectual Property Reporting Webform for TikTok Shop United States of America.

8. Upload Proof of Infringement
   • To demonstrate copyright ownership, you must complete both of the following fields:
     • Upload Registered Copyright Certificate; And
     • Upload Original Files: Provide exact images of the copyrighted photo(s) or copyrighted work, and any other images to support your claim.
     • Note: If you are an 'Authorized Representative', you must also upload a valid Letter of Authorization (LOA). The LOA must be signed by the trademark owner and state that you can make IP complaints on their behalf.
9. Type of Copyrighted work: Choose the category that best matches your registered copyrighted work.
10. Agree to Statements: Carefully read the Statement section and check the applicable boxes. This confirms you have a good faith belief of the infringement, that the information is accurate under penalty of perjury, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the IPR owner.
11. Sign and Submit: Enter your full legal name in the Signature box as your electronic signature, then submit your report.
