This document outlines the requirements for selling Jewelry Products on TikTok Shop. Jewelry products are also subject to our Restricted Products Policy. Sellers must comply with both this document and the Restricted Products Policy when listing jewelry products.

Jewelry Products

Jewelry Products on TikTok Shop include accessories, sets, rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets, anklets, and other items made from or featuring precious and semiprecious metals, gemstones, and fine materials. This includes products made with:
  • Gold
  • Diamond
  • Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald

Requirements To Sell Jewelry Products

Sellers may be required to pass category qualification. This process requires submitting documents that show the product is authentic, accurately described, and supported by required testing or certification. Gold Products

Product Photos and Packaging
  • Must match the product listing and all submitted documents
  • Must clearly show the Country of Origin permanently displayed on the product or packaging (per 19 CFR Part 134)
  • Must be clear, readable, and unaltered
Test ReportCertificate of Authenticity or Letter of Authenticity
  • Must show product name/description and gold purity
  • Must match the product listing and photos

Diamond Products

Product Photos and Packaging
  • Same requirements as Gold (see above)
Diamond CertificationNatural diamonds: America Gem Society (AGS) or Gemological Institute of America (GIA)Lab-created or artificial diamonds: International Gem Institute (IGI) or GIAThe certificate must:
  • Show the cut and carat of the diamond
  • Match the product image (if the certificate includes a gemstone image, it must match)
  • Be in English, clear, and unaltered

Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Products

  • Same requirements as Gold (see above)
Precious Gemstone CertificateMust come from: AGS, GIA, IGI, or American Gemological Laboratory (AGL)The certificate must:
  • Match the cut shown in the product image
  • If the certificate includes a gemstone image, it must match the product image
  • Be in English, clear, and unaltered

General Document Requirements

All submitted documents must:
  • Be clear, readable, and unaltered
  • Match the product listing and photos
  • Come from an accepted lab or certification organization, when required
  • Be valid within the required date range
  • Include all required details listed in this policy

Seller Obligations

Sellers must make sure:
  • The product listing does not make false, misleading, or unsupported claims
  • The product title, description, photos, and documents all describe the same product
  • The Country of Origin is permanently displayed on the product or packaging when required
  • Documents are not edited in a way that changes or hides information
  • Products are not counterfeit, fraudulent, or misrepresented

Products That May Be Rejected

A listing may be rejected if:
  • Required documents are missing, expired, unclear, altered, or incomplete
  • Photos do not match the listing or submitted documents
  • Country of Origin is not clearly shown when required
  • The document does not come from an accepted lab or certification body
  • Required testing standards, purity, carat, cut, or authenticity details are missing
  • The product appears counterfeit, misleading, or low quality

Enforcement Actions and Appeals

We regularly review shops for compliance with this document and our Restricted Products Policy. If any violations are identified, TikTok Shop may take enforcement action at our sole discretion. This may include, but is not limited to:
  • Rejecting category qualification applications
  • Deducting points from the seller’s Account Health Rating
  • Removing product listings
  • Revoking access to offer products for sale
  • Issuing refunds to customers
