AI Report · Seller Playbook

AI Report helps you turn the business metrics you care about into reusable reports, and lets you export data for further analysis.
Key highlights:
  1. Long-horizon data: Transaction metrics go back up to ~2 years, and traffic-efficiency metrics go back up to ~1 year, supporting multi-year review and YoY comparison.
  2. Flexible metric × dimension × granularity: Bring core metrics onto one page and cross-cut them by dimensions (content type, account type, time period) or drill down by product / video / LIVE / creator, without jumping between different analytics pages.
  3. Customize and reuse: Configure a report manually or save it as a template, so you can reopen it and see current-period data with one click.
  4. AI Assistant support: Use natural language to build a report, add or remove metrics, or change the date range, without needing to know field names.
  5. Bulk export: Export data to xls files and continue analyzing them in Excel or your own local tools for pivots, modeling, or archiving.
Who it is for: Sellers who want to review long-horizon shop performance, flexibly select the metrics they care about on a single page, or download data locally for custom analysis.

Things to Know Before You Start

Metrics: The data items you want to view, such as GMV, Items Sold, Product Clicks, and CTR. (More metrics will be added over time. Please refer to the system for the latest availability.)
Date range: The date period you want to query. Two concepts apply: (1) the earliest queryable date for each metric or dimension; (2) the maximum time span supported per single query (which depends on the drill-down granularity you choose). Supported ranges vary by metric. See the time-range reference table in the FAQ for details.
Granularity: The aggregation level, such as by shop, by product, by video, by LIVE, or by creator.
Dimensions: Ways to break down data, such as by content type (video, live, product card), by account type, or by time-aggregation granularity (by day, by week, by month).
Tip: If some metrics, granularities, or dimensions are grayed out, the current date range or selected combination is usually not supported. Hover over the grayed-out option to see the reason.

  5. Breakdown: Use By Day to observe trend changes (for example, around campaigns or on days when creators go LIVE).
  6. On the result page, focus on:
    • Whether Creator-attributed GMV / Items sold moves in line with total GMV.
    • Whether Seller-attributed GMV is offset (creators bring visits but seller-operated sales decline).
    • If Refunds and cancellations are included, whether refunds rise abnormally.

FAQ

Question / prompt
What you can do
Why are some metrics, dimensions, or granularities grayed out?
The current date range or selected combination is usually not supported. Hover over the grayed-out option to view the reason, then adjust the date range or change the dimension / granularity combination.
Why can't I select earlier dates?
Different metrics support different historical ranges. Select metrics first, then select the date. The system will automatically gray out unavailable dates.
How far back can I query, and how long can one query cover?
Date range has two concepts:
(1) Earliest queryable date: Transaction metrics support up to ~2 years of history, and traffic-efficiency metrics support up to ~1 year of history.
(2) Maximum span per single query: Depends on the drill-down granularity. Finer granularity means a shorter single-query window. See the table below.
Drill-down combination
Transaction metrics
earliest queryable
Traffic metrics

Max single-query
window

~1 year
92 days
Shop × Video / LIVE / Creator

~1 year
31 days
Shop × Video / LIVE / Creator × Product

31 days
To query a longer period than a single window allows, split into quarterly or monthly queries and combine the results. Actual limits per metric follow the system's grayed-out state and hover tips.
Why does the page say "Data is not ready"?
Data for recent dates may not be updated yet. Try again later, or adjust the date range to an earlier period.
Why are the Save or Export buttons unavailable?
Confirm that you have selected at least 1 metric and a date range, and wait until the data finishes loading before trying again.
Why do the GMV and Items sold I see in AI Report for one LIVE differ from the LIVE performance - LIVE data analysis page?
The two use different aggregation logic. AI Report sums the GMV each day that the LIVE ID generated within your selected date range. LIVE performance - LIVE data analysis shows the full lifetime GMV for that LIVE, so transactions that occur after the selected period are also included.
What if the AI Assistant says a metric is not supported?
This first version primarily supports the transaction and traffic-efficiency metrics listed in "Supported Metrics". If a requested metric is not supported, the AI Assistant will tell you clearly and suggest a similar available metric based on your intent. You can follow the suggestion, or switch to manual configuration.
What if the AI Assistant says the requested range is out of scope?
The requested time window exceeds the earliest queryable date or the maximum single-query window for that metric. See the time-range table in this FAQ and shorten the window, or switch to a coarser granularity, before retrying.
The detail table has many metrics. How can I see all of them?
The detail table supports horizontal scrolling to see more columns. You can also click Export to download the file to your computer and use Excel to sort and filter freely.
How do I delete a report I no longer need?
You can click Delete from either the report detail page or the AI Report list page. A confirmation prompt will appear, and the report is removed only after you confirm.
