How to Use Product Insights on the Product Detail page

Overview

Product Insights is available on the Product Details page (PDP) in the Product Marketplace. It gives you real performance data and merchant context on any product — right where you're already making selection decisions — so you can pick based on evidence, avoid oversaturated products, and post with more confidence.

What is Product Insights?

Product Trends shows you how a product has been performing recently, with metrics covering the last 7 or 30 days. Use the time filter at the top of the module to switch between views.
Metrics
Definition
Sales VolumeTotal orders placed within the selected period
CTR (Click-Through Rate)Ratio of product clicks to product impressions
Add-to-Cart Users Number of shoppers in your region who added the product to their cart
Promoting CreatorsNumber of creators who drove product impressions during the period
Each metric also includes:
  • A period-over-period comparison so you can see if momentum is increasing or declining
  • A daily trend curve showing how the metric moved across each day in the selected window
Note: If a product has fewer than 100 impressions in a given period, CTR will not be displayed. You will see a note that reads "Insufficient data for calculation" in place of the metric. All data uses the UTC+0 time zone.

How to use Product Insights in your selection process

  • Use Product Trends to assess whether a product is growing, stable, or declining momentum before committing to a post
  • Check Promoting Creators to see how crowded a product already is. A high number means more competition for the same audience - consider whether there's still room for your content to stand out
  • Switch between the 7-day and 30-day views to compare short-term spikes vs. sustained performance

  3. Can I see Product Insights for any product? Product Insights is available on the Product Details page for products in the Product Marketplace.
