Publish Again for Expired / Deactivated Promotions
AI Summary
Publish Again lets sellers restart an expired or deactivated Product Discount or Flash Sale without rebuilding it from scratch. It keeps the original promotion ID, reduces stacking risk, and is best for recurring campaigns; use Duplicate if you need a new promotion instead. Republish from More Actions or the promotion/View page, update key fields, and note it must be done within 7 days. Discount type and product/variant type cannot be changed.
What is Publish Again an Expired / Deactivated Promotion? In day-to-day operations, sellers often need to run the same promotion on a recurring basis. In the past, once a promotion expired, the seller had to create a brand-new promotion and re-configure the products, prices and other settings from scratch, which was time-consuming.To help sellers run promotions more efficiently, we have launched the Publish Again Expired / Deactivated Promotion. For Product Discount and Flash Sale, sellers can now directly reuse the configuration of an expired or deactivated promotion, edit the details as needed, and republish it — no need to build a new promotion from scratch.

I want to create a Flash Sale / Product Discount identical to a previous one — should I Duplicate or Publish Again?
- Duplicate: I want to quickly create a new promotion based on a historical one. Duplicating uses the existing promotion as a template and generates a new promotion while keeping the original in place, so I can adjust the settings as needed.
- Publish Again: I want to keep using the original promotion: there is no need to create a new one — I only need to update the configuration of the Expired or Deactivated promotion.
