Scheduled Listings
AI Summary
Schedule Publish lets merchants set a future product go-live time on PC so approved items stay hidden until the scheduled moment, helping align launches with LIVE sessions or campaigns. It supports times from now to within 90 days, uses the merchant account’s system time zone, and if moderation is not passed by the target time, the product will not auto-list. Gifts and mixed-product virtual bundles are unsupported; rollout may still be allowlist-based.
1. What's New
- Get creators started before launch day. List a new product ahead of its on-sale date so creators can request samples, add it to their showcase, and start producing content, instead of waiting for the product to go live.
- Content ready the moment you go on sale. Creators can publish pre-launch videos that build reach during the pre-heat window, so demand is warmed up and your content is live when the product becomes buyable.
- Tracked and on-platform. Sampling and fulfillment move from off-platform into the affiliate flow, so matchmaking and content fulfillment are visible and trackable end to end.
2. Product Overview
- Discover your scheduled product in the affiliate marketplace across search, featured, and suggested placements, with a Scheduled tag that shows when they can post and earn
- Request free samples of the scheduled product and fulfill them ahead of launch
- Add the scheduled product to their showcase, where it stays invisible to shoppers until on-sale
- Produce and publish short videos linked to the scheduled product during the pre-heat window, building views before launch day
- Creators can start posting from the post start date, which is your scheduled launch time minus 14 days
- During the pre-heat window a linked video accrues views but earns no GMV, and the shopper-side product link stays hidden until launch day
- On launch day the product goes on sale, the link renders normally, and videos start earning
- Markets other than the US, EU, UK, and JP are not included at launch
- A seller notification when you edit the scheduled launch time. If you change the time, flag it to the creators you work with directly
- Turning a scheduled product into a countdown bidding product
3. How It Works
Part A: Seller View - Set up and manage your scheduled product
- Open the entry. On the product publish or edit page in Seller Center, go to the Other section and turn on the Schedule Publish toggle. A date and time picker appears below it.
- Set the go-live time. Pick a time later than now and within 90 days, in your seller account timezone. The picker shows the effective timezone, and past times are greyed out. If you turn the toggle on but do not set a time, submission is blocked until you do.
- Submit and check status. After the product passes moderation it stays invisible to shoppers and shows as Scheduled in Seller Center until the set time, then automatically flips to on sale. If moderation has not passed by the set time it will not auto-list, and if you submit after the set time the product follows the normal immediate-listing logic.
- Modify or cancel before go-live. Return to the product edit page any time before the scheduled time to change the time, switch back to publish immediately, or cancel. Changes take effect immediately. Once a product is on sale this setting is greyed out.
- Track scheduled products. On the Manage Products page, filter by the Scheduled status to find them. The list shows the scheduled go-live time rather than the last edited time.
- List the scheduled product into affiliate. Configure an open or targeted plan with commission and free-sample inventory, so the product joins the affiliate marketplace even though it is not yet on sale. The plan records the launch time when you create it, and if you edit the launch time later the plan updates to match.

Part B: Creator View - What creators do in affiliate
- Your scheduled product appears in the affiliate marketplace with a Scheduled tag. It is distributed across search, featured, and suggested placements, and the tag shows "post after xx" before a creator has published a video and "earn after xx" once a video is published.
- A creator requests a free sample and fulfills it. The sample pages show a scheduled-product tag, and the fulfillment window is anchored to the later of delivery completion and the post start date (launch time minus 14 days). If you edit the launch time after fulfillment has started, the deadline extends to the new post start date plus 14 days.

- Before your on-sale date, the creator attaches the scheduled product to a video and publishes it. The video is reviewed and accrues views, while the shopper-side product link stays hidden and earns no GMV until launch day, when the link renders normally.

- In the creator's showcase and in LIVE, a scheduled product shows a greyed-out card with the post start date. Creators can still add it to their showcase, but it stays invisible to shoppers until on-sale, and in LIVE add-to-bag is intercepted until the product goes on sale. When the product goes live, everything renders and works normally.

4. Tips
- Set your scheduled launch time before listing into affiliate, since the post start date and the whole creator timeline are calculated from it.
- List into affiliate early. Creators can only start posting from launch time minus 14 days, so the sooner your scheduled product is live in the marketplace, the more pre-heat runway creators have.
- Set enough free-sample inventory, since sampling is what gets creators producing content ahead of launch.
- If you edit the launch time after creators have started, tell the creators you work with directly. There is no automatic seller notification for launch-time changes at this launch.
- Treat the hidden link and zero GMV during the pre-heat window as expected. The product link renders and starts earning the moment you go on sale.
5. FAQs
- Do I still schedule the product the same way? Yes. You set the scheduled go-live time in Seller Center exactly as before. What is new is that you can now list that scheduled product into affiliate so creators can sample and post before launch.
- Will my product be visible to shoppers before launch? No. During the pre-heat window the shopper-side product link stays hidden and earns no GMV. Creator videos accrue views only, and the link renders and becomes buyable on your on-sale date.
- When can creators start posting? From the post start date, which is your scheduled launch time minus 14 days.
- What happens if I change the launch time? The plan and the creator timeline update to the new time, and if a creator has already started fulfillment the deadline extends to the new post start date plus 14 days. There is no automatic seller notification for the change at this launch, so flag it to your creators directly.
- Where is this feature available? It is currently available for eligible US-based sellers only.
