1. Recruitment Video: Post an introduction to you and your program on TikTok. Show off your unique TikTok Shop success story, your coaching style, and a sneak peek of what creators can expect to learn from you. Use the hashtag #TikTokShopSquadUp.
2. Coach Application Form: Provide core details like GMV, your specialties, and a brief outline of your program.

Once everything is confirmed, you’ll officially guide your cohort through a coaching experience.

Eligibility and Application

Q: What is the deadline to apply?

There is no deadline. We will continue to accept applications and batch them for future SquadUp Program cohorts. You’ll be notified about your application status and upcoming start dates after we review submissions.

Q: How are coaches selected?

TikTok Shop will manually review applications based on coach qualifications, alignment with program goals and the content provided in the applications.

Q: What are the requirements to apply?

1. Must have TikTok Shop account with E-Commerce permission in good standing
2. Create and lead a coaching program
3. Manage communication with mentees via a private group chat

Program Details

Q: How many mentees will I coach?

Your mentee cohort will include however many sign up. There will be no upper limit.

Q: How do mentees sign up?

A dedicated recruitment page will showcase your coach profile for potential mentees to review and enroll in your program. As part of the application process, you’ll be responsible for providing a Mentee Enrollment URL (e.g., a payment platform, Google Form, etc.). Mentees will use this link to sign up for your program.

Q: Will TikTok Shop provide support for payment collection?

No, coaches are solely and fully responsible for setting up and managing their own payment process with mentees.

Q: Can I choose how I teach?

Yes! Coaches have full creative freedom to design their curriculum, teaching style, and format. However, all coaches are highly encouraged to promote TikTok’s foundational principles. More details will be provided once you are selected.

Q: When does the program start?

Coaches will start onboarding mentees during the August and September recruitment period and kick off the program on 8/1/2025.

Q: How long is the program?

The actual coaching program duration will depend on the coach's curriculum.

Q: Do I need to create a group chat for my mentees?

Yes. One of your responsibilities as a coach is to set up and manage a private group chat for your mentee cohort, using the platform of your choice (e.g., WhatsApp, Discord, etc.). Further instructions and guidelines for setting up the group chat will be provided once you’re selected as a coach.

TikTok SquadUp Program Terms and Conditions for Coaches:

The TikTok Shop SquadUp Program ("Program") is offered by TikTok Inc. ("TikTok"). By submitting an application for the Program, you ("You" or "Your") agree to be subject to these TikTok SquadUp Program Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs"). These T&Cs are subject to, and incorporate by reference, the TikTok Creator Campaign Terms, TikTok Terms of Service, TikTok Shop Creator Terms of Use, TikTok Community Guidelines, TikTok Advertising Policies, TikTok Shop Creator Privacy Policy, and any applicable TikTok Shop policies and guidelines as updated or amended from time to time (collectively, “Online Terms”).

1. Eligibility. The Program is open to content creators who are invited to participate and meet the specified criteria outlined below for an opportunity to be a coach for this Program:
   1. You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to participate in the Program;
   2. You must have a TikTok Shop account with e-commerce permission in good standing;
2. Application and Approval Process. After You successfully submit Your application, TikTok will review Your application and TikTok, in its sole discretion, will determine if Your application, including all the information, content, images, videos, aligns with the Program's goals and whether You are approved to be a coach for this Program.
3. Program Structure.
   1. If approved, after the application process, the Program will provide You an opportunity to be a coach to TikTok Shop creator(s) ("Mentee(s)"). You will set Your own fees, Your own payment logistics, and Your own curriculum.
   2. You agree that You are responsible for: (i) creating and leading a curriculum and (ii) managing Your communications with Mentee(s) through a private group chat.
   3. You understand and agree that You are solely responsible (to TikTok, to Your Mentee(s), and to others) and TikTok shall not be responsible for any of Your activities and/or Your Mentee's activities under this Program, including but not limited to any disputes between You and Your Mentee(s), Your fees, Your requested method of payment, Your curriculum, Your content, Your suggestions and recommendations to Your Mentee(s), etc.
   4. You understand and agree that You will only look to Your Mentee(s) for any disputes between You and Your Mentee(s) and any payment involved.
   5. You understand and agree that TikTok is only providing You an opportunity to be a coach. You understand and agree that this Program is voluntary and any arrangements, agreements, payments between You and Your Mentee(s) shall solely be between You and Your Mentee(s) and You will look to Your Mentee(s) to resolve any issues under this Program.
   6. You understand and agree that any information you share, including but not limited to the information, content, images, videos you shared through your application, etc., shall be used for this Program.

The TikTok Shop SquadUp Program ("Program") is offered by TikTok Inc. ("TikTok"). By joining the mentee waitlist for the Program, you ("You" or "Your") agree to be subject to these TikTok SquadUp Program Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs"). These T&Cs are subject to, and incorporate by reference, the TikTok Creator Campaign Terms, TikTok Terms of Service, TikTok Shop Creator Terms of Use, TikTok Community Guidelines, TikTok Advertising Policies, TikTok Shop Creator Privacy Policy, and any applicable TikTok Shop policies and guidelines as updated or amended from time to time (collectively, “Online Terms”).

2. Program Structure.
   1. After You successfully submit Your information through a mentee waitlist and the coaches ("Coach(es)") for the Program are revealed, You will have an opportunity to choose and join a Coach's mentorship by submitting an application.
   2. You understand and agree that by joining and agreeing to a Coach's mentorship through the Coach's own URL, the arrangement between You and Your Coach(es) shall be strictly between You and Your Coach(es), which may depend on the Coach's availability, mentorship styles, fees, etc.
   3. You understand and agree that You are solely responsible (to TikTok, to Your Coach(es), and to others) and TikTok shall not be responsible for any of Your activities and/or Your Coach's activities under this Program, including but not limited to any disputes between You and Your Coach(es), the Fee(s) set by Your Coach(es), Your Payment to Your Coach(es), Your content, Your adaptation of the suggestions and recommendations provided by Your Coach(es), etc.
   4. You understand and agree that You will only look to Your Coach(es) for any disputes between You and Your Coach(es) and any payment involved.
   5. You understand and agree that TikTok is only providing You an opportunity to be a mentee. You understand and agree that this Program is voluntary and any arrangements, agreements, payments between You and Your Coach(es) shall solely be between You and Your Coach(es)and You will look to Your Coach(es) to resolve any issues under this Program.
   6. You understand and agree that any information you share, including but not limited to the information, content, images, videos you shared through your mentee waitlist form and application, etc., shall be used for this Program.
