Introduction on affiliate commission

When sellers set up an open collaboration commission rate, creators who are promoting that product can enjoy a locked commission rate for at least 30 days. This will allow creators to enjoy a more stable affiliate selling experience.

• When sellers raise a product's commission rate, creators who've been promoting that product in their showcase will immediately receive the higher commission rate.
• When sellers lower a product's commission rate, creators who've been promoting that product in their showcase will keep their initial commission and be notified that their commission rate will be lowered. This notification should be sent two days before the 30-day lock up period expires.

How affiliate commissions work

When you pick a product to promote, you'll be reminded that your commission rate is guaranteed for 30 days. If the seller decides to raise the commission rate, you'll immediately receive the higher rate.
If the seller decides to lower their commission rate after you've already started promoting the product, you'll be able to see how long your commission rate is protected based on the 30-day window that appears in your showcase.
You'll also receive a notification two days before your 30-day commission rate window expires to let you know the commission rate will decrease.

What happens if I remove a promoted product from my showcase, or delete content associated with the product?	You'll lose your locked commission rate. If you begin promoting the product again, you'll receive the product's current commission rate.
What happens if a seller deletes a product and then re-adds it with a different commission rate?	The product's commission rate history will be reset, but this action will also remove associated product links from all creators' videos.
