Key Upgrades

Shop Tier and Benefits

Shop Tier is the growth stage assigned by the platform based on your Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) over the past 30 days. It provides a clear view of your business status and determines which exclusive benefits you can unlock.
  • Tier structure: There are six Tiers in total: Starter → Rising → Pro → Expert → Elite → Premier. The higher your Tier, the larger your business scale and the richer the benefits you can access.
  • Daily updates: Your Shop Tier and corresponding GMV data are updated once daily at 00:00 UTC. As a result, the Tier and GMV data you see each day may change based on the rolling calculation for the past 30 days.
  • Tier-to-GMV mapping:
    • Tier 0 - Starter
    • Tier 1 - Rising:$0 - $12.5k
    • Tier 2 - Pro:$12.5k-$65k
    • Tier 3 - Advanced:$65k-$200k
    • Tier 4 - Elite:$200k-$600k
    • Tier 5 - Premier:+$600k

New Diagnostic Channels and Methodology Tiers

Based on your marketing scenarios and core operating actions, we have broken the methodology down into 3 first-level categories and 17 second-level categories. These are further split across five operating channels: Seller Videos, Seller LIVEs, Affiliate Videos, Affiliate LIVEs, and Shop Tab & Search. You can flexibly filter and combine them in the system based on the scenarios and operational needs your shop is currently focused on.
  • Five channels:
    • Creator Content (Creator LIVEs and Creator Videos)
    • Seller Content (Seller LIVEs and seller-generated videos)
    • Shop Tab & Search
  • ACE Methodology levels:
    • Assortment (supply scale, product competitiveness, product quality, and fulfillment service)
    • Content (foundation for Affiliate collaboration, number of collaborating creators, creator ecosystem structure, supply quantity of seller-generated videos, supply quality of seller-generated videos, supply quantity of LIVEs, and supply quality of LIVEs)
    • Empowerment (ads, campaigns, and promotions)

Data Metrics and Task Ranking (internal only)

In addition to channel segmentation, this ACE upgrade also introduces major changes to system diagnostics and tasks ranking logic.
  • Data metrics: More than 80 data metrics that directly impact shop GMV have been reviewed and organized, covering the five channels and all diagnostic methodology levels. You can drill down to view each metric’s actual performance across channels. Examples include the number of active products and product out-of-stock rate for Seller or Creator Videos, as well as ad creative supply and the share of FBT products for Affiliate Videos.
  • Diagnostic logic: The platform analyzes issue factors or metrics in the channels currently prioritized for operations. Through AA comparison (compared with the shop’s own performance over a recent period) and AB comparison (compared with benchmark sellers in the same category), it provides a performance summary and improvement recommendations for the current shop.
  • Ranking logic: tasks are ranked based on differences in shop operational risk or GMV performance in core channels.
    • 🔴 First priority: red-light metrics. Operational risk metrics, including various violations, SPS scores, and more.
    • 🟡 Second priority: yellow-light metrics. Key metrics that block GMV across operating channels.
    • 🟢 Third priority: green-light metrics. Metrics that affect GMV growth across operating channels.

Shop operational risk is the most critical diagnostic conclusion provided based on your shop’s actual performance and status. If medium- or high-risk issues are identified for your shop, the system will pin high-priority task cards to the top, requiring your immediate attention and completion.
If no high-risk issues are identified, or if the current shop has no operational data, this module will not be displayed.

Task Status and Personalized Filters

  • Available: This is the list you should focus on. It shows all tasks recommended for you by the platform. The system selects the most suitable action items for you from a comprehensive task pool. To avoid duplication, if multiple tasks point to the same objective, the system keeps only the highest-ranked one.
  • In progress: tasks you have started but not yet completed appear here. To remind you, tasks with rewards waiting to be claimed are ranked first, followed by other ongoing tasks.
  • Completed: All completed tasks records are shown here for easy review and retrospective analysis.

  • With incentives: To encourage proactive shop optimization, the platform provides rich rewards for many tasks. Completing these tasks not only improves your business performance, but also helps you receive tangible platform support, including but not limited to Product Coupons, Ads Credits, Promote Coupons, and Cash rewards.
  • Without incentives: Tasks without incentives are equally important to your shop operations. You should also monitor diagnostic results and complete them on time so they can contribute to your Shop Level progression.

Task Card Structure

On the task diagnostics category page, all diagnostic recommendations provided by the system are presented as task cards. Each task card is a condensed “information capsule” that tells you why you should take action, what to do, what benefits you can gain, and provides a direct execution entry point.
  • Task basics: Tasks are split into individual tasks based on scenarios or product capabilities. Some tasks cards may involve multiple product tasks after you click into them, and the platform will also indicate the execution value of the current tasks. The system also marks the tasks most worth completing.
    • ACE diagnostic recommendation: This usually shows one of your key metrics and compares it with a benchmark, such as sellers in the same category or at the same level. Clicking the metric opens a new window, redirects you to the data page in Seller Analytics, and automatically expands the detailed trend chart for the corresponding metric for deeper analysis.
  • Task action: This is the core of the tasks and clearly tells you the specific action to take, such as “publish a shoppable video,” “set a discount for a hero product,” or “join a platform campaign.”
  • Estimated benefit: This shows the potential business growth after completing the tasks. Depending on the task type and backend configuration, it may be a simple benefit label, such as “GMV lift,” or a more specific numerical estimate. This is an important reference for evaluating task value.
  • Incentive: If completing the task earns an additional platform reward, it will be clearly displayed here.
  • Validity period: Many tasks and rewards are time-limited. This section tells you the task deadline. Please complete the task before it expires.
  • Action button: This is the task execution entry point. Clicking this button, such as “Create now” or “Sign up,” takes you directly to the relevant feature page so you do not need to search for it yourself. Alternatively, a right-side drawer may display task details to help you understand the detailed execution steps.

  • Product Coupons: Coupons that can be sent directly to your customers to improve order conversion rate.
  • Ads Credits: Credits used to run TikTok Shop ads and gain more visibility.
  • Promote Coupons: Coupons used to amplify your videos or LIVE rooms and increase content impressions.
  • Cash rewards: Cash incentives paid directly by the platform.
You have two main entry points for managing your rewards:
  • View on the task card: Each task with rewards clearly shows the reward content in the Incentive section of the Task Card.
  • Manage in the My rewards page:
    • This page summarizes all rewards you have earned. You can click each reward card or the Use button next to it to view the reward details, validity period, and usage instructions.

Interpreting Results and Priority Recommendations

To help you use diagnostic results more efficiently, we classify different types of issues by priority. When you see multiple issues, refer to the table below to determine the order in which to address them.
Issue Type
Recommended Priority
Characteristics and Icon
Description
Operational riskP0 - HighestUsually displayed as a standalone module at the top of the page and may include a red warning icon. These issues may affect your shop’s normal operating eligibility, such as platform policy violations, product delisting risks, or a low shop experience score. We recommend addressing them first to avoid business interruptions.
Core anomaly issueP1 - HighThe diagnostic card may show prompts such as “declined compared with the previous period.”This refers to a clear decline in your shop’s key metrics, such as impressions, clicks, or conversions, compared with the previous period. Prioritizing these issues helps you restore operational performance as quickly as possible.
Growth opportunity issueP2 - RecommendedGaps and opportunities identified by comparing with top peer sellers (Benchmark).Your shop is operating normally, but there is still room for improvement in certain areas compared with industry benchmarks. Selectively optimizing these issues based on your situation can help you further expand strengths or close gaps.
