What is Promotion Performance Score?

Promotion Performance Score, or PPS, is a dynamic score from 0 (poor) to 5 (excellent) that evaluates a creator's ability to:
  • Select high-quality products
  • Create good-quality content
The score reflects the overall quality of your promotions, and updates daily.
Who qualifies for PPS?PPS is available to affiliate creators who meet at least one of the following criteria in the last 30 days:
  • 5+ delivered orders
  • 6+ videos posted
  • 3+ livestreams hosted

How is the new PPS calculated?

Your new PPS is made of two parts:

Think of it like this:

  • Content Score answers: Are you consistently posting high-quality, policy‑compliant content?

Product Selection Score - How it Works

Product Score

Each Product you promote gets a Product Score. Think of it like a quality rating based on real customer reviews. The score is from 0-5. The higher the value, the more it helps your score.
Important details:
  • Products with more orders from your content have a bigger impact.
  • Bad reviews after you have posted your content do NOT count against you.
  • You and sellers can both see Product Score. Customers cannot.

Content Score - How it Works

  • You earn points by posting great content.
  • You lose points if your content breaks policy rules.
Gaining Points

This means this creator's percentage of good quality videos is 40%. (10 videos/25 total videos). Therefore, the creator will have 1.2 points.
Losing Points
Low Quality Content Scoring.pngFor example, a creator posted 10 videos in the last 30 days. If 3 of those videos have violations, then 30% of their recent videos are considered low quality. Because of that, 1 point will be deducted from the creator’s overall content score.
Continuing from the examples above, this creator will then have a total content score of:
Content Score of 4 = 3.5 + 1.5 pt - 1 pt

Why don't I see product scores for some of the products?

A product can receive a Product Score if it meets either of these conditions:
  • It has 20 or more reviews, or
  • It has fewer than 20 reviews, but the seller has at least one other product in their store with 20 or more reviews.
If a store has no products with 20 or more reviews, none of its products will receive a Product Score.

Will promoting a product that has no Product Score negatively affect my Promotion Performance Score?

Selecting products with no Product Score will have a neutral affect on your PPS.

The product went out of stock, does this negatively affect my PPS?

No. Your PPS will not be affected by whether the product has gone out of stock.

Will my PPS change if the Product Score changes after I post?

No. Your PPS will not be affected by any Product Score changes after you’ve published your video or LIVE.

How long does it take for my PPS to update?

Your score updates daily.
No. Negative reviews that result from order shipping-related issues will not negatively impact your PPS.

My video promoting a product with low product score is used in an ad campaign. What can I do to remove it?

Content that is used in an ad cannot be removed or set to private. To remove the video, you need to contact the seller to remove the video from the campaign or stop the ads that are running on your content.

Will customers and sellers see my new Promotion Performance Score?

No. Customers and sellers will not see your new PPS score during the dual-run period.
Negative reviews that result from order shipping-related issues will not negatively impact your Promotion Performance Score.

Why can't I view my Promotion Performance Score?

Only eligible creators can view the Promotion Performance Score tab in of Creator Center. You must meet at least one of the following criteria within the last 30 days to view your Promotion Performance Score:
  • 5+ delivered orders, or
  • 5+ videos posted, or
  • 2+ livestreams hosted

Why don't I see Product Score for some of the products?

The product score isn't displayed on some of the products because they have not yet reached a minimum number of product reviews. If you decide to promote a product with no product score, this has a neutral effect on your PPS.
