After submitting your business information, you will receive a notification if you need to edit any registration information.

What happens if my registration cannot be verified?Please go back and verify the information you entered into Seller Center does not include any errors. If you are requested to submit documentation, please ensure it exactly matches the information you submitted to Seller Center. For example, if your address cannot be verified, please ensure the utility bill you upload has the exact address that matches the information you entered into Seller Center.
What if I get a notification for unclear documentation?If you receive a rejection due to an unclear image, please ensure that the images you upload meet the following conditions:
  1. Clear, high-quality, complete copy of the document
  2. Documentation is not expired
  3. JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF format only
  4. Blurry, cropped, or altered (such as filtered) images are not allowed. Neither are screenshots with phone or computer screen banners and icons displayed allowed.

What if I get a notification of submitting the incorrect information? Please double check that all information is aligned within Seller Center and documentation that is submitted. Verify there are no discrepancies between the information you submit on Seller Center and on the documentation you upload.
Once your business has successfully been verified, you can continue to submit your Tax and Warehouse information.What if I'm prompted to submit Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) information?An Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) is the person that is the ultimate beneficiary when an institution initiates a transaction. The definition of who constitutes a UBO varies between jurisdiction, but generally a UBO is defined as an individual who holds a minimum of 25%(US) capital or voting rights in the underlying entity.
  • Beneficial Owners (there may be several) will need to provide:
    • Legal Name
    • One of the following valid government-issued Identification Documents:
      • Passport
      • United States Driver License / State ID
      • Identification Card
    • Date of Birth
    • Residential Address
    • Nationality
    • Social Security Number (SSN, last 4 digits)

Add Tax Information

In order to receive payments from the platform, please complete the tax information (W9 form). A preview of the completed W9 form will be available before submission.
What if my tax document receives a rejection? Please verify EIN/SSN, Tax Payer Name, & Tax Number all match the documentation that you provide. If you are rejected, you may submit your information for review again.

Warehouse Setup

TikTok Shop simplifies the shipping process by automatically assigning TikTok Shipping as the default option during account setup.
To utilize TikTok Shipping, please provide a "ship from" or pickup address. During account registration, our system will verify the warehouse address to check if it is valid for USPS (our default shipping service).
If the address cannot be verified by USPS, our system will provide hints for sellers to modify.
The Ship from and Return Address is not impacted by invalid shipper account addresses.
You may update or add additional warehouse addresses at a future time on the Seller Center Platform.

Shop Set-up directs sellers to multiple paths that allow them to upload single products, bulk upload products, or synchronize their TikTok Shop to an existing external ecommerce shop.

*Note: In order for products to be visible to shoppers, sellers must first complete the W9. Once the W9 is completed, product listings are then internally reviewed by the TikTok team for compliance. All products that pass the internal review will become immediately visible to shoppers once the shop is approved.On the 'Manage Products' page, products that pass the internal review will have the status listed as 'Pre-approved'. Linking an Official TikTok Account to a TikTok Shop is a powerful way to develop a presence on TikTok and drive traffic to a sellers brand and products.
Notice:
  • Each TikTok Shop Account may only have 1 Official Account.
  • Products uploaded to the TikTok Shop will automatically appear in the Official Account's.
