If you receive a notification requesting compliance documentation, you must demonstrate that the specified product meets applicable regulatory requirements and TikTok Shop policies.

Here are Seller's Responsibilities

Each seller is responsible for:

• Ensuring products meet all applicable laws and regulations as well as TikTok Shop policies
• Maintaining valid, up-to-date testing documentation
• Responding to compliance requests within the specified deadline
• Bearing all costs associated with testing and validation

TikTok Shop may request additional testing or documentation at any time as part of ongoing compliance monitoring. This may include but are not restricted to cGMP certificates or batch production records or safety datasheets as appropriate for the category tested for. Please check the list of requirements carefully

The Requirements For Test Report

All submitted test reports must meet the following criteria:

• Issued within the last 180 days (unless otherwise specified by category requirements)
• Clearly identify the tested product (including brand and manufacturer details)
• Match the product listing information and purchase invoice
• Display the same company name and address as the selling account

If the seller is the manufacturer, the manufacturer listed on the report must match the selling account.
Incomplete, expired, manipulated, or unverifiable reports will be rejected.

Criteria For Accepted Test Reports

The test report you submit must be one of the following:

1. A valid test report issued by a TikTok Shop Approved Partner Laboratory (listed below); or
2. A valid test report issued by an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory, together with proof of accreditation; or
3. A valid test report from an in-house laboratory, plus a valid cGMP certificate compliant with 21 CFR 111 or 21 CFR 117.

If you use a laboratory that is not on our Partner Laboratory list, the report may be required to undergo validation by a TikTok Shop Approved Partner Laboratory before it is accepted.

The Compliance Verification Process

When a product is identified as requiring compliance verification, the following process applies:

Notification

You will receive a notification in Manage Your Compliance / Seller Center / email requiring submission or validation of testing documentation for specific Product ID(s).
Each request will include:

• Product ID
• Category
• Documentation deadline
• Required test scope

A grace period may apply depending on the product category and compliance trigger.

Seller Submission Options

You may choose one of the following paths:

Option A: Submit an Existing Test Report

• Upload your Certificate of Analysis (COA) or test report to the notification in the Manage Your Compliance Center or to the form attached in the email you would have received
• Confirm the report meets TikTok Shop requirements
• Select a Partner Laboratory (if validation is required)

If validation is required, the Partner Laboratory will review your documentation and provide a verification outcome.
Validation fees may apply and are borne by the seller.

Option B: Initiate New Testing with a Partner Laboratory

If you do not have an acceptable report:

• Select a TikTok Shop Approved Partner Laboratory
• Provide required contact and business details
• Agree to laboratory testing and validation fees

The selected laboratory will contact you directly to coordinate sample submission and testing.
Typical testing timelines vary by product category. During the defined compliance window, your product may remain conditionally live unless otherwise specified.

Option C: Decline Testing

If you choose not to proceed with testing or fail to submit valid documentation:

• Your product may be suspended or removed from sale
• Sales may be blocked until compliance is restored

Explicit confirmation may be required before submission.

Partner Laboratory Validation

For applicable cases:

• Partner laboratories will validate submitted reports or conduct new testing
• Results are communicated directly to TikTok Shop
• Outcomes may include Pass, Fail, or Additional Information Required

TikTok Shop does not accept self-verified documentation.

The Enforcement Process

The following actions may occur if compliance requirements are not met:

• Temporary product suspension
• Permanent product removal
• Reduced listing visibility
• Account-level enforcement for repeated non-compliance

Products supported by documentation from laboratories identified by regulatory authorities as unreliable may be automatically rejected.
TikTok Shop may update its list of accepted or restricted laboratories based on regulatory findings, data integrity concerns, or policy updates.

2. Navigate to Product Compliance / Account Health
3. Select the affected Product ID
4. Upload required documentation or initiate testing
