Key Points:
  • TikTok Shop may take enforcement actions when your shop violates our policies or does not meet our performance standards. These actions may include restricting sellers from listing new products.
  • Each product should have one listing with appropriate variations if necessary

Duplicate Listings

Duplicate listings disrupt the shopping experience and can negatively impact buyer trust on TikTok Shop. To protect both buyers and sellers, TikTok Shop monitors and enforces standards related to duplicate and mass-created product listings. To learn about listing products correctly, please review our handy guide, Product Listing: What You Need to Know.
A duplicate listing occurs when the same or highly-similar product is listed multiple times within a single shop or shop group.
Listings may be considered duplicates if they:
  • Offer the same product with only minor changes (e.g., title wording, images, or SKU)
  • Exist multiple times instead of being combined into one listing with variations
  • Are repeatedly created after removal, rejection, or performance issues
Creating or maintaining duplicate listings may result in listing removal, reduced visibility, or further enforcement actions.
❗️Each variation (SKU) must accurately represent a unique option of the same product. Misleading or duplicate variations will be flagged as violations and may result in penalties.

How to Avoid Duplicate Listings Violations

Use One Listing per ProductEach unique product should have one primary listing.
If your product has multiple options:
  • Add variations (such as size, color, or pack quantity) within the same listing
  • Do not create separate listings for each option
