What is Hero Program

The Hero Program is TikTok Shop's step-by-step guide to help turn your products into bestsellers and keep them performing at their best. Built on strategies tested across TikTok Shop, it gives you a proven playbook to drive more sales and visibility.
You'll complete up to 6 proven actions—like running discounts, participating in campaigns, sending samples, and more. As you complete these steps, you'll unlock special rewards like ad credits, product discount bonuses, exposure support, and premium placements to help your products grow even faster.

How to Access This Feature

Access the Hero Program:

• Step 1: Log in to Seller Center.
• Step 2: Navigate to Products on the left-hand menu.
• Step 3: Click on Hero Program.

Eligibility Criteria:

You're eligible for the Hero Program if you have at least one product that meets these two requirements:

1. Meets Baseline Performance: A cumulative GMV of at least $250 and a minimum of three (3) completed customers orders in the last 30 days.
2. Platform Ready: Your product must:
   • Be available for purchase on TikTok Shop U.S.
   • Be visible in TikTok Shop's search systems.
   • Comply with all applicable TikTok Shop policies and rules.

How it Works

Step 1: Review your products 👀

When you enter the Hero Program, you'll see a dashboard showing all of your eligible products. For each product, you'll see:

• To-do actions required to earn rewards
• The target reward you're working toward (Milestone or All-Star)
• Actual benefits you've received from completing program actions

Step 2: Improve your products 💪

For each product, you can complete up to 6 recommended actions to optimize its performance. This includes tasks associated with the Milestone Reward and the All-Star Reward.

🎯 Milestone Task

Complete these 3 core actions to earn your Milestone Reward:

1. Enable open plan commission
2. Offer either a merchant-funded discount or enroll in an eligible promotional campaign
3. Send free samples or spend on ads in the last 30 days

🌟 All-Star Task

Complete any 2 of these 3 advanced actions to unlock the All-Star Reward:

1. Send free samples sent to L3+ creators (GMV>=25,000 in the last 30 days)
2. Use Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) warehousing
3. Offer free shipping

Step 3: Earn rewards 🏆

As you complete steps, you'll have the opportunity to unlock rewards. Your dashboard keeps everything in one place, so you can easily check your progress and see what you've earned. There are two types of rewards: the Milestone Reward and the All-Star Reward.

🎯 Milestone Reward

You’ll receive a powerful benefits package, including product discount bonus, creator matchmaking, exposure support, and premium access to invitation-only marketing campaigns.

• Amplified exposure: Your product will receive exposure support across TikTok Shop surfaces to help increase product views and boost more sales.
• Premium creator matchmaking: To increase the chances of your products being discovered and promoted by top creators, we’ll support their engagement by:
  • Creator commission bonus: Get TikTok Shop-funded commission bonuses on your product, increasing its chances of being selected by creators for promotions.
  • "Top Picks" tag: Get a "Top Picks" tag for your product on the affiliate market. With this tag, your product will receive premium placement in the affiliate product marketplace, increasing its chances of creator promotion.
  • Featured on the Creator Leaderboard: Get your product featured on the Creator Leaderboard. This ongoing competition rewards creators with cash for selling platform-selected products. Leaderboard featured products often see spikes in sales.
  • Free sample campaign participation: Get selected for the free sample campaigns. Products in these campaigns will have sample costs covered by TikTok Shop during the campaign and are more likely to receive creator-made shoppable videos.
• Premium campaign access: You'll gain priority access to marketing campaigns that are normally invite-only. These campaigns are usually featured across key promotion moments and homepage placements, giving your products greater visibility, higher conversion potential, and a chance to stand out alongside top-performing sellers. It's a key driver in helping your products stand out and stay ahead of competitors.
• Discount bonuses: You'll earn up to $500 discount bonus funded by TikTok Shop on your first High-Potential Product that completes all Milestone actions, helping it unlock a more competitive price in the marketplace.

🌟 All-Star Reward

Once you've earned the Milestone Reward, you can unlock the All-Star Reward:

• Ad credits: You'll earn $1,000 credits that are directly deposited into your ad account if your product ranks among the top 200 with the highest daily GMV growth* within an evaluation cycle. These credits can be used on any product, not just the one that earned the reward.

Note: If your product is already a "Hero" (GMV >= $30,000 or completed customer orders >= 1,000), it will be included in your dashboard but will not be eligible for discount bonus and ad credit rewards.

Step 4: Track and maintain your progress 📈

To track the performance of individual products, go to the "Actual benefits" column next to Target reward and click "Rewards & Trends."
This will open a detailed reward performance panel showing your rewards received and their actual impact like order uplift, product impressions, creator matchmaking results, discount bonuses, and more.
For a deeper breakdown, click "View impressions trend" and "View creator analysis" next to each reward. This gives you full visibility of your product impression trend and creator matching results respectively.
