How to View Your Reserve Record

Summary

What is the TikTok Shop Reserve system and how does it function?

  • TikTok Shop holds a percentage of each transaction’s settlement as a reserve for a defined rolling period from the delivery date. If unused, this reserve is released back to sellers after the reserve period ends.

How can sellers monitor and check their reserve amounts and changes?

  • Sellers can check reserve amounts by navigating to Finance > Statements > Finances summary > Paid for reserve within a time range, and Finance > Statements > Finances summary > On hold for current total reserve and daily changes.
  • The Sankey chart uses green to show reserve released exceeds frozen amount, and red for the opposite. Historical reserve data is accessible via the On hold module’s “See all” option.

What is the relationship between reserve amounts and final payouts to sellers?

  • The final payout equals the sum of the statement amount plus the reserve amount, both viewable in Finance > Statements > Payouts. TikTok Shop automatically disburses reserve funds to sellers’ bank accounts once release conditions are met.

How does Reserve work?

TikTok Shop will calculate and hold a reserve amount from the settlement amount of each new transaction based on the set percentage.
The reserve will be held on a rolling basis for a defined period from the delivery date calculated in calendar days.
If unused, reserve funds will be made eligible to be disbursed back to the Sellers at the end of the reserve period.
