Depending on the option you choose, this age confirmation process may involve submitting relevant personal identity information, such as:

For TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator Accounts which have yet to verify their age:

You need to complete the Age confirmation process within the next 60 days after onboarding as a TikTok Shop E-commerce Creator or receiving your first age confirmation in-app notification, otherwise you will lose access to TikTok Shop creator center.
Upon entering the TikTok Shop Creator Center on your app, you may receive an invitation banner to complete the age verification process.

Product links may be hidden from your viewers and you are not able to display products on the profile page until you successfully confirm your age.

Step 2: Completing the Age Confirmation Process

Before a Creator begins with the TikTok E-commerce journey, creators will have to confirm their age by choosing one of the following three methods to complete the age confirmation to obtain full access to TikTok Shop and add products to post shoppable content，

Facial Age Estimation (estimate time: 5 seconds)
Credit card authorisation (estimate time: 5 minutes)
ID and selfies (estimate time: 24 hours)

If you choose the "Facial Age Estimation" to confirm your age , you need to follow the guidance to place your face in front of the camera.
Once you finalize step 2 , you are able to get the result instantly.	A. Successful Age Confirmation If the age confirmation is successful ( which means age confirmed as 18+), you will be able to officially obtain full access to TikTok Shop to add products and post shoppable content accordingly.
	B. Unsuccessful Age Confirmation If your age is not confirmed due to some technical issues or bad image quality, you can instantly retry using Facial Age Estimation (up to 3 times) or using the other two methods to complete the age confirmation. If you have failed the age confirmation due to reasons including the creator being under 18 years old, or failing the liveliness check, you can immediately retry using the other two methods to complete the age confirmation.

Method B: Credit Card Authorisation

	B. Unsuccessful Age Confirmation If you are unable to verify your age via the "Credit Card Authorization" method due to any of the following reasons, you can try to verify your age again up to 6 times via the same method: Your card is invalid. You didn't complete the 3rd-party authentication in time. If you are unable to verify your age using the "Credit Card Authorization" method after multiple attempts, you may retry via the other two methods to complete the age verification process.

Method C: ID and Selfies

	B. Unsuccessful Age Confirmation If you have failed the age verification due to the creator being under 18 years old, the account will not be eligible for TikTok Shop e-commerce permissions. Note that you will not be able to retry the age verification process at this stage. If you are unable to verify your age via the "ID and selfies" method due to any of the following reasons, you can try to verify your age again up to 6 times via the same method: Your ID or selfie photos are unqualified. The birthdate you entered doesn't match your ID. If you are unable to verify your age using the "ID and selfies" method after multiple attempts, you may retry via the other two methods to complete the age verification process. Note that this does not apply to unsuccessful verification due to the creator being under 18 years old.
