How it works

Before this feature, sellers had to manually message each creator to remind them to post content after receiving a sample. Now, you can easily send reminders to multiple creators at once with just a few clicks. Here's a step-by-step guide on how it works behind the scenes:

1. Check the "Sample Request/In Progress" tab: When a creator receives a sample from you but hasn't yet posted content, you'll see them listed in the "In Progress" tab on your Sample Request page. A "Notify" button will appear, letting you know that you can send a reminder.
2. Select creators and take action: From the "In Progress" tab, you can select individual creators or use the one-click button to notify all eligible creators at once. You'll then see a confirmation message summarizing your selections.
3. Send the reminder: After confirming, a personalized reminder message is sent directly to each creator's inbox in Seller IM. This message is pre-built with the creator's name, the names of the sample products they received, and the specific due date for each product. You can see any creator follow-ups in the IM interface.
4. Watch the magic happen: Once a creator posts content for the sample, the status of the message in both your and the creator's view will automatically update. The "Post" button will become inactive, and the product task will move to the bottom of the list.

Bulk Reminders	Step 1: If there are eligible sample requests for a reminder, a pop-up will appear. Click "Send Reminder".	Step 2: The system will display a list of creators and their respective product requests. Select the requests you'd like to notify by checking the corresponding boxes.	Creators receive a TikTok IM reminder to post content before the 11-day deadline set by fulfillment rules.If a creator has multiple products pending, they will receive one consolidated message covering all of them.
Individual Reminders	Step 1: Alternatively, you can send a reminder directly through IM chat with the creator. Click the chat icon to open the conversation and include a custom message if needed.	Step 2: You’ll be able to send the product card along with the reminder directly through the IM chat.

Tips

• Don't forget to have fun! While the first part of the message is pre-built, you have the option to add your own personal flair to the rest of the message to make it stand out.
• Keep it simple and clear. A direct message with the product name and due date helps creators understand exactly what you need and when they need to deliver.
• Review content once it's posted. After a creator posts content, you can click "Review" from the message to view the content directly.

• How soon after sample delivery can I send a reminder?

You can send a reminder to a creator five days after they receive the sample. This ensures creators have had a chance to receive and review the product before a reminder is sent.

• Can I send multiple reminders for the same sample?

No, each creator can only be sent one reminder per sample to keep communications clear and avoid overwhelming them.

• Why can't I select a specific creator to send a reminder to?

If you're unable to select a creator, hover over their name to see the reason. Common reasons include a reminder already having been sent for that sample, or the five-day waiting period after sample delivery not yet being met.

• How do I send a reminder to a creator who received multiple samples?

The system automatically sends a single notification that includes all of the products a creator has received that are currently "In Progress". This helps you avoid overwhelming creators with too many messages.

• Can I edit the reminder message?

Yes, you can. The first sentence of the message, which includes the creator's name and product details, is not editable to ensure clarity and consistency. However, you can add your own custom text to the message afterward to add a personal touch.

• What if a creator declines a sample after I've sent it?

If a creator appeals and is not interested in the sample, the Sample Request status will change to "Cancelled." You will no longer be able to send reminders to that creator for that specific sample.

• What if there are no creators to notify?

If there are no eligible creators who meet the criteria for a reminder (e.g., five days have passed since delivery, and no content has been posted), the "Notify" button will be inactive.
