Terms and Conditions
These TikTok Shop Auto-optimized Samples Terms and Conditions (the “Feature Terms”) shall apply in addition to the Seller Terms of Service, the Business Campaign Terms And Conditions For TikTok Shop US and governs your participation in the TikTok Shop Auto-Optimized sample Feature (“Feature”) on TikTok Shop. To the extent that there is any conflict between these Feature Terms and the Seller Terms of Service in relation to the Feature, these Feature Terms shall take precedence and govern.Description of FeatureTikTok Shop's Auto-optimized samples streamlines the sample exchange process for sellers by evaluating all creators entering the product landing page and auto-approving creators whose estimated ROI is greater or equal to the ROI shared with the seller for their respective product(s). To achieve this, TikTok estimates the "sample quota" and ROI based a product(s) historical data.
Changes to Feature Terms; Termination
- TikTok has the right to amend these Feature Terms and adjust details to the Feature (including but not Product Eligibilityy, Compensation, etc.) from time to time. TikTok will use commercially reasonable efforts to give You prior notice of any material changes to these Feature Terms, such as through a written notice to You via the Seller Center. However, it is Your sole responsibility to review these Feature Terms regularly to check for such changes. If You do not agree to the change(s) notified to You, You may request to leave the Feature at any time during the notice period, subject to a deadline of application set by TTS and notified You. Your continued participation in the Feature after the notice period shall be deemed Your acceptance of the amended Feature Terms.
- TikTok may terminate the Feature and/or these Feature Terms (whether with You alone or part or all of Merchants) at any time without cause by giving You notice in writing.
- TikTok may suspend Your participation in the Feature at any time without cause by giving You notice in writing in TikTok’s sole discretion based on Your performance in the relevant Feature.
- The termination of the Seller Terms of Service for TikTok Shop between You and TikTok or termination of Your account for any reason will automatically terminate these Feature Terms. Any suspension of Your account under the Seller Terms of Service for TikTok Shop will result in the suspension of Your participation in the Feature hereunder.
- TikTok reserves the rights to determine which products are eligible for the Feature
- Products can become ineligible after Seller has turned on the Feature; it is up to Seller to ensure they are aware of any changes
- Notwithstanding anything in these Feature Terms to the contrary, TikTok does not provide any representations or warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise in relation to:
- the success, profitability or viability of Your participation in the Feature or Your sale of the Products on TikTok Shop; or
- any increase in sales of Your Products or revenue for You, number of the Buyer(s) for Your Products, or traffic to You, Your channel or Your Products on TikTok Shop.
- Sellers can turn off the auto-optimized sample feature by entering Open Collaboration and editing your free samples rules. You can turn off sample entirely or turn on the manual review of free sample applications
- Note: You can still obtain some free sample requests with auto-optimized for unique cases.
- TikTok evaluates creators based on their potential to generate GMV within TikTok. When creators are eligible, their estimated ROI is greater or equal to the ROI estimate We provide to You. Creators that are eligible can request a free sample which will be auto-approved.
