Affiliate creatives are TikTok posts created by affiliates which can be authorized for use in TikTok Shop Ads. When you use a video created by an affiliate creator in your Shop Ads, affiliate creators can earn commissions for sales on the products linked in the video. Attribution for gross revenue between your ads and affiliate creators can be viewed in Seller Center.


When you turn authorization on or off for individual video codes, this will not apply to all affiliate posts. If you turn authorization on or off for all affiliate posts at the account level, this will not affect authorization for individual video codes.

How to create Video Shopping Ads using Affiliate Creatives
When you create Video Shopping Ads in TikTok Ads Manager, you can use videos that an affiliate creator has authorized to share.Use affiliate creative videos in Video Shopping Ads
When you create Video Shopping Ads in TikTok Ads Manager, you can use videos that an affiliate creator has authorized to share. To use affiliate videos in Video Shopping Ads:- Go to TikTok Ads Manager.
- Click the Campaign tab.
- Click Create.
- Select the Product sales objective.
- Choose TikTok Shop as the product source.
- Select Video Shopping Ads as the Shop Ads Type.
- Choose a TikTok Shop from the dropdown.
- Note: If you can't find your TikTok Shop in the dropdown, go to the Business Center and assign your email addresses as members with full access to the advertiser accounts, shops, and TikTok accounts. Learn how to add members or partners to your TikTok Shop.
- Select a product.
- Select the Affiliate post video source. Available affiliate videos will automatically appear in the list of videos you can choose. You can search for a specific post using the post ID. If you can't find the post you're looking for:
- Make sure the creative affiliate has turned on affiliate creatives authorization in Creator Center in the TikTok app.
- Select the TikTok post video source and enter video codes that you obtain from the creative affiliate. Learn how to use an affiliate video code in Video Shopping Ads.
- Select another product, or use other video sources.
- When you're finished, click Publish.
View affiliate ads metrics in Seller Center
You can see reporting for affiliate ads in Seller Center. The Ads x Affiliate report compares metrics between organic sales and sales generated by ads. When you use affiliate posts in ads, you may see Gross revenue attributed to both Ads & Affiliate in this report.
Differences between affiliate creative authorization and video code authorization
Affiliate creators can grant authorization for their posts to be featured in Shop Ads and be eligible for affiliate creative commissions. Authorization can be granted for all videos and sellers, or for individual videos using a video code.When you turn authorization on or off for individual video codes, this will not apply to all affiliate posts. If you turn authorization on or off for all affiliate posts at the account level, this will not affect authorization for individual video codes.
