How it Works

1. No seller set up needed. TikTok Shop automatically surfaces your product and relevant commission rate to international creators on the PDP.
2. International creators can choose to turn this feature on. If they unlock Earn abroad for that product, sellers in your market will see their tagged shoppable content. This can lead to more content, and potentially more sales for you.
3. Orders come in the same way. You don't need to do anything different with your product set up. While the creator may not be in your market, the shopper is so your logistics set up remains the same.
4. No hassle payments. We take care of the payments and the international creators will be paid out in their own currency.

2. How do I turn on Earn abroad? Earn abroad is automatically available for sellers that sell the same products in the relevant markets. Creators will not see the Earn abroad option if global product ID and global seller ID do not match.
3. My product is only available in my local market. How would a creator find me? Creators can only turn on "Earn abroad" when a matching product is available in their local market. If your product is not sold in any other international products, international creators will not be able to tag your products.
4. What markets is this available in? Creators in the US, UK, Germany, Spain, France, and Italy will have access to this feature.
5. Can an international creator request samples through Earn abroad? No, creators can only request samples from the local seller in their market.
6. How can I see if an order was affiliated with an international creator? We are always working on improving the seller experience. Right now, you won't be able to see if an order was generated through content from an international seller.
7. How do I turn off this feature? Think of this as an extension of the Open Collaboration experience. If you don't want a product to be promoted by creators, you'll need to take it off the Product Marketplace. Keep in mind that international creators get the same commission rates you offer to creators in your local market, but they cannot request samples, so this can be an easy way for your products to surface on more content without extra effort.
