Overview:

With this new listing update, sellers will have the same product listing experience whether they access listings from Shopify 1P or directly from TikTok Seller Center.
This update simplifies product management, removes sync-related confusion, and provides a unified view of all TikTok Shop products.

What’s Changing for Sellers

Removal of the “Sync” Concept

There will no longer be a concept of manual or automatic product sync between Shopify and TikTok Shop.
New behavior:

• All Shopify online products will be created in TikTok Shop as Draft products by default.
• Sellers must complete any missing required information and submit the product to trigger:
  • Product review
  • Product going live on TikTok Shop

Automatic Listing

• If sellers enable Automatic Listing, AI will:
  • Attempt to supplement required product information
  • Automatically submit the product for review and listing, similar to the current experience

Listing Page

The Product Listing page in Shopify 1P remains the same with the products listed from Shopify 1P

Products Listed from Shopify

• These products:
  • Appear in the listing page
  • Clearly show their association with the corresponding Shopify product

Redesigned Product Editing Page

The product editing experience in Shopify 1P has been significantly redesigned.
Key change:

• The product editing page is now fully consistent with the Seller Center product editing experience

This means:

• Same layout and structure
• Same required fields and validation logic
• Reduced learning curve when switching between Shopify 1P and Seller Center

How to sync products with this update:

1. Search for Shopify product which is currently Active and has TikTok as Sales channel in our Shopify --> TikTok App
   
2. The product will appear in the Draft tab by default in:
   • Shopify 1P
   • TikTok Seller Center
     
3. Click on Edit and list
   
4. Fill the product attributes
   
5. The submitted product will show as Reviewing/Live once approved
   

How to Bulk sync products:

Sellers can now bulk edit and list products or bulk apply templates, even across multiple categories

1. Select the products you wish to Bulk list/sync

NOTE: You can select products across different categories. Templates can be applied later before listing.

2. Click Bulk Edit and List to open the bulk editing page.
   • Bulk edit product details
   • Submit for review, or
   • Save changes as draft
     

How to Bulk Apply template:

Sellers can apply templates to products across multiple categories.

1. Select the products you wish to bulk Apply template
   
2. Choose:
   • An existing template, or
   • Bulk change the category first and then select a template
     
3. Click on Save and Submit for Review
