💡 Feature Overview

Shoppable Photos is a new content format that helps you promote products through engaging imagery paired with clear purchase cues. Similar to video content, it captures customer attention with an immersive browsing experience while making the path to purchase simple and direct.
To help you understand how this new content format performs, we’ve introduced Shoppable Photo Analytics. This feature provides a dedicated analytics view for your shoppable photo content so you can:
  • Track performance metrics
  • Monitor real-time and historical data
  • See which products are selling through each photo
With clearer insights, you can better understand the business impact of your photo posts, optimize your content strategy, and improve sales over time.

  • See which photos drive results: Quickly identify which photo posts are generating views, clicks, orders, and revenue.
  • Understand what content works best: Learn which styles, products, and formats perform well so you can repeat what works.
  • See which products sell from each photo: Click into a photo post to view product-level performance and understand what customers are buying.
  • Make smarter posting decisions: Use real performance data to guide what you post next, especially when launching new products.
  • Track performance over time: View trends by day, week, or custom date range to monitor changes and improvements.

🧭 How to Access This Feature

Log into TikTok Shop Seller Center -> click Analytics on the left-hand menu -> click the LIVE & Video Analytics tab at the top -> click Video Details -> select Photo Type (Beta)
Inside Video Details, you can switch between:
  • Video Type (video performance)
  • Photo Type (photo performance)
If you have access, you’ll be able to click into the Photo Type tab to view your photo analytics.

⚙️ How it Works

  • Today

  • Step 1: Select your time range. Use the calendar in the top-right corner to choose the period you want to analyze:

    The page will update to show performance during that time window.
    • Photo details and publish time
    • Linked product(s)
    • Key performance metrics (GMV, views, clicks, orders, etc.)
    • Step 2: Review photo-level performance. You’ll see a list of photo posts from linked accounts that generated engagement or sales during the selected time period. Each entry shows:

      📌 Note: Only photo posts with activity in the selected time range will appear.
      • Switch between Today (Realtime) and Offline metrics
      • Choose which sales and traffic metrics to display
      • Step 3: Customize the metrics you track. Click the edit icon at the top right of the list to:

        This helps you focus on the data most relevant to your business.

        • Products linked to that photo
        • Performance metrics for each product
        • This helps you understand exactly which items are driving sales from that post.
        • Step 4: View product-level performance. Click View Detail on any photo to open the Product Performance page. There, you can see:

          • Step 5: Download data for deeper analysis (optional). You can download the photo performance list to analyze trends offline or share insights with your team.

          • Check your top-performing photos regularly: Look at which posts are driving the most GMV and orders, and use that insight to guide future content.
          • Use photos to support product launches: Post photos for new products and monitor early performance to see what gains traction quickly.
          • Double down on what converts: If certain products or visual styles perform well, create more content in a similar format.
          • Test and learn: Try different types of photo content and track what drives engagement and sales over time.
          • Review product-level insights: Use the Detail view to see which products benefit most from photo exposure and adjust your strategy accordingly.

          Can I see which products sold from a photo?Yes. Click Detail on a photo post to view product-level performance data.
          Can I compare photo and video performance?Yes. Use the tabs to switch between Video Type and Photo Type to compare performance across content formats.
          Can I filter by date?Yes. You can select Today, Last 7 days, Last 28 days, or a custom date range.
          Is this feature available to everyone?This feature is currently in beta and may only be available to selected sellers while we continue improving the experience.
