Popular Questions
- What’s the difference for sellers offering products under $30?
- Buyers no longer need to pay for shipping, even on lower-priced items.
- Sellers benefit from higher conversion rates, as TikTok Shop shoppers strongly prefer free shipping.

Note: While opting out reduces the fulfillment fee slightly, it may also lead to lower sales performance due to the lack of free shipping.

- What will happen to the FBT Seller-Funded Free Shipping feature?
- Are samples shipped through FBT charged differently than regular shopper orders?
- How does multi-unit fulfillment fee pricing apply?
- A shopper purchases a virtual bundle (e.g., two or more separate SKUs grouped together).
- A shopper purchases multiple units—either the same SKU or different SKUs—from the same seller.
- Multi-unit pricing applies only when a single FBT seller contributes two or more items to the order. Orders with items from different FBT sellers do not qualify, unless one seller contributes multiple items—in which case, that seller receives the multi-unit pricing.
- Physical bundles—products pre-packed and shipped as a single unit—are treated as one unit in the FBT warehouse and charged as a single fulfillment unit.
- Multi-unit fulfillment fees are calculated based on the Chargeable Weight of each individual unit. There is no need to estimate total package weight or dimensions for the full order.
- For the new multi-unit rates, do I need to take any action to get the new pricing? (NEW FAQ)
- For the new multi-unit rates: How are multi-unit orders (from the same seller in one checkout) billed under the new rate card? How about single unit rates? (NEW FAQ)
- There is no change. Single-unit orders will continue to be billed at the existing single-unit rate.
- 2-unit orders: For selected weight bands, the rates are now reduced compared to previous multi-unit rate.

FBT Fulfillment Fee
- How will I be charged for bundled products when I use FBT to ship them?
- A virtual bundle refers to a group of products sold together as a package deal but not physically packaged together prior to storage and shipping. Each unit in the bundle is treated as a separate unit during fulfillment and requires a separate pick by our warehouse team.
- A physical bundle refers to products that are combined and packaged as a single unit before storage and shipping. These products are physically prepackaged together, requiring only a single pick by our warehouse team.
- Virtual bundles: These qualify for the multi-unit fulfillment fee, as each unit is fulfilled separately. Virtual bundles generally cost more to fulfill compared to a single physical bundle, depending on the weight and dimensions of the units.
- Physical bundles: These qualify for the single-unit fulfillment fee, as the entire bundle is treated as a single unit. If multiple physical bundles are purchased within a single order, the order will qualify for the multi-unit fulfillment fee.
