How It Works

Here’s how you can navigate it like a pro and fill your showcase with amazing products.
  1. Go to the Product Marketplace.
  • You can access it directly from your creator toolkit within TikTok. This is your central hub for product discovery.
  1. Find products that fit your vibe.
  • The marketplace is organized to make discovery fun and easy. You can find products in several ways:
    • Search Bar: Have something specific in mind? Type a product name, brand, or category into the search bar. You can then sort and filter the results by price, commission rate, or category to narrow things down.
    • Banners: Keep an eye out for banners at the top of the page. These often highlight special campaigns and curated promotions. For example, products featured here might have a temporarily higher commission rate or be part of a platform-wide trend, giving you an opportunity to earn more.
    • Curated sections: Refine what you're looking at by searching for products by categories or using our filters (like Refundable Samples).

  1. Add products to your showcase.
  • Once you've found a product you want to promote, you can add it directly to your showcase. Simply tap the Add button next to the product listing. You can also click into the product to see its full detail page and add it from there.
    • What's happening: When you add a product, it creates a link between the seller's product and your account. The product will now appear in your showcase, which is the collection of items you can link to in your Shoppable Videos and LIVEs. Any sales made through your unique link will be automatically tracked and the commission credited to your account.

Other ways to discover products

Beyond browsing the Product Marketplace, you can add products to your showcase on the fly as you discover them across TikTok.

Add with a Product URL
If a seller or TikTok Shop provides you with a direct product URL, you can add the item to your showcase in just a few steps. This is perfect for when you're part of a specific campaign or have a direct relationship with a brand.
  1. Go to the Product Marketplace.
  2. Tap the "Add by URL" icon. Look for the link or plus icon in the top-right corner of the Product Marketplace.
  3. Paste the product URL. Enter the full TikTok Shop product URL into the field provided.
  4. Add the product. A preview of the product will pop up. If it's the right one, tap Add to place it in your showcase.
Add from other creator content
See a product you love in another creator's Shoppable Video or LIVE? You can add it to your own showcase and start promoting it right away.
  1. Go to the product detail page. Tap the product link anchor in the video or LIVE stream.
  2. Tap the "Share" icon. This is typically represented by three dots (...) or an arrow in the top-right corner of the product detail page.
  3. Select "Promote this product". This will add the product directly to your showcase. You'll see a confirmation on screen that it was added successfully.
  • What's happening: This action finds the product within the TikTok Shop ecosystem and creates an affiliate link for your account. You're now ready to earn a commission on that same product.
Add from Your For You Page (FYP)
As you scroll through your For You Page, you might see a special "Add Product" card. This is a shortcut to get trending products into your showcase.
  • Simply tap the Add button on the card to add the suggested product directly to your showcase.
  • Want more options? Tap More products to be taken to the Product Marketplace to continue exploring.
A Note on Global Brands
Specific Global Brands (e.g. Estee Lauder) may require Creators to agree to their Terms & Conditions (T&C) before you may add their products to your Showcase. A pop-up will appear, and you can review T&C by clicking on their terms. Once you click the Add button, it means you agree to the T&C, and the products will be added to your Showcase.
