Standard Sizes

Get clearer listings and happier shoppers by standardizing product size information right from the start.
  • Build shopper trust: Clear, standard sizing helps shoppers hit "buy" with confidence, knowing exactly what they'll get.
  • Slash size-related returns: Standard sizes mean fewer returns due to "it didn't fit," saving you time and money.
  • Simplify your listings: Selecting from standard options makes creating listings quicker and easier.
  • Boost product visibility: Consistent sizing helps your products show up in the right searches and filters, getting them seen by more interested shoppers.
  • Streamline your catalog: Keep your product data clean and consistent, making inventory and catalog management a breeze.
How it WorksHere’s how you’ll use standard sizes when creating your listings:
In Seller Center (PC & App):
  • Start creating a new product listing as usual.
  • Select the product category. If standard sizes are active for that category, you'll notice a change in the Variations section.
  • Where you'd normally type in sizes, you'll now see dropdown menus or selection boxes with predefined standard size options.
  • For some products, these options might be cascading. This means you'll first select a general "Size Type" (like "Men's Shoes"), which will then show you the relevant "Size Values" (like "US 9," "US 10," "US 11").
  • Simply select the standard size values from the list that match the variations of your product. You won't be able to type custom sizes in these fields.
  • Finish adding your other product details and submit your listing!
Tips
  • Choose wisely: Select the most accurate standard size for your item from the options provided. Getting it right helps shoppers and reduces returns.
  • Follow the cascade: If you see cascading options, pay attention to how selecting one (like "Size Type") helps narrow down the choices for the next (like "Size Value").
  • No Custom Sizes Here: Remember, for fields using size standards, you must pick from the list – typing your own size isn't possible for these specific attributes.
