Clarification: TikTok Shop Shipping Update
10/18/2025
Effective October 27, PDT
TikTok Shop values its long-standing partnership with USPS. To protect buyers and sellers and uphold a safe marketplace, we continue to strengthen controls against increasing postage fraud, including but not limited to any type of Unpaid Postage Order (UPO).What’s changing:Effective October 27 (PDT), Chinese POP sellers who choose USPS for TikTok Shop orders must generate USPS labels via TikTok Shipping, our direct integration with USPS. This ensures verified, trackable labels and faster resolution if issues arise.
What’s not changing:Chinese POP Sellers may continue to use all other supported third-party carriers. This update is about label verification and fraud prevention for sellers shipping via USPS—not about limiting carrier choice.
Why this matters:
- Protects the integrity of USPS labels and tracking data.
- Improves dispute resolution and delivery transparency for customers.
- Supports a reliable peak-season experience for our buyers and merchants.
If you have questions please contact your Account Manager or TikTok Shop Seller Support. We appreciate our collaboration with USPS and our merchant community as we continue improving a safe, trusted shopping experience.
