How to Print Hazmat Labels

For TikTok Shipping sellers, TikTok provides printable Hazmat and Dangerous Goods labels for all applicable shipments. The guide below will walk through the process of how to print these labels for shipments that require them.
On the Manage Orders tab, shipments will be labeled with a "Dangerous Goods" tag:

You can also quickly filter all pending orders by using the filter option, and selecting "Dangerous goods":

Once you have selected an order that contains hazmat goods to create labels for, you will notice a button "Hazmat label (A4)" as a checkbox:

If your shipment contains a hazmat good, ensure this radial box is checked to ensure the correct hazmat label is printed along with your shipping label and packing list.
(Note: If a shipment does not contain a hazmat good, the "Hazmat label (A4)" radial box will be greyed out.
When you click the "Print Document" button you will see the hazmat label included in a PDF along with your other documents for the shipment. This document will contain the Order ID of the order it is associated with, instructions for labeling, as well as the label to be included and taped on the outside of the package.

Automatic Order Splitting for Hazmat or Dangerous Goods

For orders that include Hazmat or Dangerous Goods and other non-Hazmat or non-Dangerous Goods, TikTok will automatically split the Hazmat items into their own package, as hazmat goods must be shipped and labeled in their own package.

Common scenarios of split orders include, but are not limited to:
  • If the orders contain dangerous goods that cannot be shipped together, such as alcohol and lithium batteries; or
  • The package exceeds specification restrictions. For example, packages with lithium batteries cannot exceed 66 lbs; or
  • The orders contain other items that must be shipped separately according to the US federal and logistics regulations.
