Holiday 2025: Temporary Peak Season Shipping Rate Changes

What’s Changing?

To keep you informed, we're sharing an important update about temporary shipping rate changes announced by our logistics partners. These adjustments will affect some domestic shipping services during the upcoming holiday season.
  • Effective Period: October 2025 – January 2026
  • Carriers Involved: USPS, UPS, FedEx
  • What’s Changing: Temporary peak season surcharges will be applied by carriers.
These rate changes are determined by the carriers and are not controlled by TikTok Shop.

How This Affects You

For Existing TikTok Shipping

When purchasing a shipping label, you’ll see the estimated peak-time rate, including any applicable surcharges, directly in the system.

For Upgraded TikTok Shipping

Use the Shipping Calculator (Starting Oct 12)

Beginning October 12th, you can:
  • Log in to your Seller Account
  • Use the Shipping Calculator to view detailed shipping costs, including temporary peak surcharges
Please Note
  • Carrier peak-season surcharges will take effect starting October 5.
  • To support our sellers, TikTok Shop will absorb these surcharges from October 5–11, minimizing any immediate impact.
  • The new price card will go into effect on October 12. Please note that it does not apply to returned goods.

No Action Required — But Plan Ahead

You don’t need to take any immediate steps. However, we recommend reviewing your holiday pricing and logistics strategy to account for these temporary cost increases. This can help protect your margins and ensure smooth operations during the busiest time of year.

Are You in the Collections by TikTok (CBT) Program?

Good news — CBT shipping rates will not be affected by these surcharges.
  • TikTok Shop will cover all additional carrier surcharges for CBT shipments during the peak season.
  • Your costs and fulfillment processes will remain unchanged.
