Campaign

Summary

What is GMV Max ads on TikTok Shop and how does its integration with campaign registration benefit sellers?

  • GMV Max ads automatically create paid ad campaigns for eligible products registered in platform campaigns, boosting visibility and sales during promotions.
  • This integration saves time by automating ad creation, optimizes ROI by combining organic and paid traffic, and increases product exposure with minimal manual effort.

What are the key steps sellers must follow to register and manage GMV Max ads campaigns?

  • Sellers register products via Seller Center → Promotions → Campaigns, confirm terms, and submit eligible products; ads auto-create 2 or 7 days before campaign start.
  • After approval, sellers manage ads under the GMV Max Manager tab, toggling ads on/off per product or in bulk, and can edit limited campaign settings like budget and ROI targets.

What limitations and controls exist for sellers regarding auto-created GMV Max ad campaigns?

  • Sellers cannot change campaign schedules or replace auto-generated creatives but can add products, adjust ROI targets, and modify daily budgets.
  • Ads remain active even if sellers withdraw from campaigns; manual termination is required after promotions end, and only one GMV Max ad is created per seller per campaign.

What common issues might sellers encounter with GMV Max ads and how can they resolve them?

  • If ad creation fails, the system shows failure reasons and offers a retry option; if ads stop due to authorization cancellation, manual campaign creation is needed.
  • Product-level alerts appear for adding/removing product failures, which must be resolved within the GMV Max campaign interface.

What are important seller requirements and considerations for using GMV Max ads on TikTok Shop?

  • Sellers must have a GMV Max ad account and fully fund their ads; automation applies only to integrated platform campaigns, not flash sales or custom registrations.
  • Ads are created shortly before campaigns start (2 or 7 days), and sellers can opt out anytime by toggling ads off or using bulk disable functions.
