Free Sample Campaigns

Sample campaigns are limited-time events promoted across TikTok Shop where you can get free samples of products, test and honestly review them, and then post content for your followers to view. You might even unlock extra rewards when you post content about the samples and generate a few sales!
Note: When you join a sample campaign to get a free product, you agree to promote that product through a short video or LIVE.

How it works

1. Step 1: Look for sample campaign banners that pop up on the TikTok Shop Creator Center. If you see one, click it to join.
2. Step 2: Once you are on the sample campaign page, you can choose from an assortment of products that are part of the campaign during a specific time period and find instructions on what you need to do to complete the promotion.
3. Step 3: Select the products you want to test and review.
4. Step 4: Enter your address and confirm your order.
5. Step 5: Check your order status. On the TikTok Shop Creator Center page, click the campaign banner to see your order details.
6. Step 6: Promote the items. Once you receive your sample, create short videos showing the product, how to use it, what you love about it and what you don't. This can all be done through the sample campaign page.
7. Step 7: Make sales and receive your reward. If your content generates sales, you’ll receive a reward coupon.
8. Step 8: Complete tasks before the campaign’s specified end date. Each sample campaign has a limited duration, so you'll want to choose your freebies before the campaign finishes. After you choose your items, you will be given a deadline by which you must post your videos.

FAQs

1. Can I request more than one sample from a seller? Creators can request up to one (1) of a particular item from any seller only one time. Creators can request different kinds of samples from the same seller (if available) or similar items from different sellers. It's best to only order a single type of item from a single seller, as the intention is to promote the product for that seller.
   • Examples:
     • You can request one red heart T-shirt from seller ABC, but not two red heart T-shirts from seller ABC.
     • You can request one red heart T-shirt from seller ABC, and if offered, you can also request one blue miniskirt from seller ABC.
     • You can request one red heart T-shirt from seller ABC and one red-and-white tree T-shirt from seller XYZ.
2. When do I have to post my promotional content by? Each sample campaign has its own requirements. In the campaign details page, you can see how many days you have to post content.

3. What do I do if I have a question about my sample request? You can direct any questions you have to TikTok Shop Customer Service, which you can contact through the Order Details page, as shown below.
