The 3-day shipping badge program rewards sellers who consistently meet 3-business-day (3BD) delivery commitments from order creation to delivery. This program enhances product visibility by automatically assigning a 3-day shipping badge to eligible listings based on delivery performance. The badge builds customer trust, drives more traffic, and boosts sales.

Program Benefits

  • Gain more visibility – Sellers with faster delivery speeds receive increased exposure and traffic allocation, driving more potential shoppers to their listings.
  • Grow your sales – The 3-Day Shipping badge increases visibility by showcasing sellers' fast delivery speed on the Product Detail Page and Checkout Page. For products with Free Shipping, the badge will also appear on the Shop Tab, Live & Storefront content, and Search Results, giving your listings even more exposure. This helps improve conversion, attract more buyers, and reduce cart abandonment by highlighting a fast delivery experience.

3-day shipping includes the entire process from order creation to final delivery. Products that consistently meet the 3 business day delivery standard, based on historical lead times, qualify for the badge and its benefits.

How to join the 3-day shipping program

Seller's shop is automatically enrolled in the 3-day shipping Program based on the seller's historical 3-day delivery performance, evaluated using data from specific weekdays.
Eligible sellers will receive a notification from TikTok Shop once enrolled. After the full rollout, sellers can check their enrollment status directly in Seller Center. To confirm whether seller's shop is part of the program, simply go to Orders> Shipping settings> Overview> 3-day shipping program> Enroll/Unenrollimage
The badge will be shown to shoppers in select regions only if the seller's 3-day shipping rate, which is measured for orders shipped from the specified warehouse to that region, consistently meets the required threshold over the past few weeks.
To make the badge visible on more product listings, we encourage sellers to improve fulfillment speed. The better seller's performance, the more shoppers will see the badge.
If sellers are unsure about consistently meeting the 3-day delivery promise, they could opt out of the program to avoid negative shopper experience or disputes.
Important: The badge will not appear if most deliveries on a specific route regularly exceed 3 business days, even if the seller intends to offer 3-day delivery. This ensures shoppers receive accurate and reliable delivery expectations.

Can I Opt Out?

Yes, sellers can opt out of the program at any time by going to:
Orders> Shipping settings> Overview> 3-day shipping program> Enroll/Unenroll. Once unenrolled, the 3-day shipping badge will no longer appear on seller's product detail pages. sellers can opt back in at any time if they change their mind. However, the badge will only be displayed if seller's performance meets the program's requirements.

Tracking Shop Performance

Seller can track their shop’s 3-day delivery performance by navigating to:
Orders> Shipping settings> Overview> 3-day shipping program> Shop performancePerformance metrics are calculated based on recent delivery data (e.g., past 8 weeks) and may be adjusted based on the platform’s latest shipping lead time trends to ensure consistent shopper expectations.
Note: The delivery by date for each order is calculated starting from the next business day after the order is placed.
  • Shop 3-day delivery rate: The percentage of all orders in the shop that are delivered within 3 business days after payment.
  • 3-day shipping success rate: The percentage of orders with 3-day shipping badge that are actually delivered within 3 business days.
  • 3-day shipping badge coverage: The percentage of orders that include products displaying the 3-day shipping badge.

Managing 3-Day Shipping Orders in Order Management

To help sellers easily identify 3-day shipping orders, a new “3-day shipping” badge has been added to key order views, including the Order List and Order Details Page. The badge will appear on orders that meet the criteria for the 3-day shipping promise, with the badge determined based on the main order level of the transaction. Additionally, a “3-Day Shipping” filter has been added to the Order Tag filter list and is now positioned at the top for quicker access and easier order management.

What is 3-day shipping and how is it calculated?

The 3-day shipping badge will be shown to shoppers in certain regions (routes with a strong delivery history), only if the shop's 3-day delivery rate for orders shipped from the specified warehouse to that region has been 90% or higher over the past 8 occurrences of that specific weekday. Note: TikTok Shop continuously monitors real-time shipping lead time trends and may adjust badge visibility to maintain consistent performance and reduce the risk of breaches. The countdown begins from the next business day following the order placement.
For example:
  • If an order is placed on Monday, the delivery should be completed by Thursday.
  • If placed on Friday, the count starts on Monday, and the order should be delivered by Wednesday.
Note: Weekends and federal holidays are not counted as business days.

Will there be enforcement or penalties for not meeting 3-day shipping?

There are no penalties for missing the 3-day shipping window. However, late end-to-end lead times may trigger Late Dispatch Rate and On-time Delivery Rate violations, which can negatively impact Seller Performance Score (SPS).

Does this mean shoppers expect 3-day delivery?

Yes, but the badge only appears on routes with a strong delivery history (e.g., Zone 1 to Zone 1). Not all shoppers will see the badge.

The 3-day shipping badge for each order will be displayed on the Manage Order page and Order Detail page.

No, 3-day shipping isn't influenced by the fulfillment method. Whether sellers are shipping from their own warehouse or using Fulfilled By TikTok, eligibility depends solely on the actual delivery performance.
