Upload images to generate listing

One-line overview: What is this feature?
Image-to-Listing helps sellers quickly generate product titles, categories, attributes, descriptions, and other listing content by uploading product images and adding a small amount of text information, reducing the time spent filling out a blank form field by field.
What this feature helps you with:
  • List faster: Fill in far less basic information and shorten time to market
  • Get started more easily: You do not need to understand every field before you begin—just upload images to start
  • Reduce missing information: The system prioritizes generating core product information to help you complete pre-listing preparation

I. Who is this feature suitable for?

This feature is suitable for nearly all sellers. It is especially useful when your product’s style, material, structure, or use case can be clearly shown through images.
This function is suitable for the following categories
  • Fashion
  • Sports & Outdoors
  • Home
  • Other products with strong visual characteristics

III. How to use it

Step 1: Upload product images

After entering the feature, upload at least 1 product image first. The first picture is particularly important, and the product must be clearly displayedRecommended image priorities:
  • A main image that clearly shows the product itself
  • Images with clear lighting, a complete subject, and no obstructions
  • Detail images that provide key information, such as size charts, care labels, material labels, hang tags, etc.image.png

Step 2: Add text information (optional)

You can add supporting details in input fields such as Additional details, for example:
  • Product name keywords
  • Material, style, color
  • Use scenarios
  • Any other information you want the system to focus on recognizing
This step is not required, but if the images do not provide complete information, adding text usually helps the system generate more accurate results.

Step 3: Confirm the generated title and category

After you upload images, the system will first generate:
  • Product title
  • Product category
These two items can usually be edited directly.
If the system provides multiple suggestions, you can choose the one that fits best. If you have already edited the content manually, the system generally will not overwrite the content you have changed when you upload more images or add more text later.

Step 4: Click Generate Listing

Once the title and category have been generated, click Generate Listing. The system will continue generating other product information, such as:
  • Attributes
  • Brand (if recognizable)
  • Product details/descriptions
  • Some of the basic content required for publication

Step 5: Enter the listing page to review and complete information

After generation is complete, you will enter the product listing page. At this stage, we recommend focusing on the following checks:
  • Whether the title is accurate
  • Whether the category is correct
  • Whether the attributes are complete
  • Whether the product images are appropriate
  • Whether brand, price, inventory, logistics, or compliance information needs to be added or corrected
We recommend that sellers think of this step as: “AI generates the content first, and the seller performs the final review of the generated content.”image.pngimage.png

IV. What the system typically generates for you

Item
Description
Product titleAutomatically generated based on images and supplemental text; can be edited manually
Product categoryThe system recommends a category, which you can manually change to a more accurate one
Some attributesThe system will try to complete attributes, but sellers are still advised to verify them one by one
Product details/descriptionsBasic descriptive content is generated to make further editing and optimization easier
Image organizationIn some scenarios, the system will classify images for display or optimize them based on image content

V. What you should still verify yourself

Item
Why sellers should pay special attention
BrandBrand recognition can easily be affected by image clarity and display format, so manual verification is recommended
PricePrice directly affects conversion and profit, so it is recommended to enter or review it yourself
InventoryInventory is operational information and should be filled in according to the actual situation
Logistics informationInformation such as size, weight, and shipping details still needs to be confirmed against the actual product
Compliance informationThis involves platform rules and product compliance, so it must be manually verified before publication

VI. Usage notes

1. The first image must clearly show the product itself

If the first image does not clearly show the product itself, the system may not recognize it correctly and may even ask you to upload again.

2. The more complete the images, the more accurate the generated results usually are

If your product requires information such as size, material, or hang tags, we recommend uploading those related images together to improve the chances of generating more complete product information.

3. Adding text can improve accuracy

When images cannot fully convey the product’s features, adding a few keywords can help.

4. Do not publish blindly based on AI-generated results

The system helps you save time, but before you publish, you still need to verify key information such as category, attributes, brand, price, and inventory.

5. For manually edited information, your final judgment should prevail

If you have already modified the title or category, the system usually will not overwrite it automatically later. Please use the version you have confirmed as the final one.
The category affects subsequent attributes, rule validation, and listing performance, so do not continue using it if you notice it is incorrect.
Practical tip: Upload the main image first, then add detail images, and finally include one short line of text. This usually produces better results than uploading only one image.
Image-to-Listing is ideal for sellers who want to launch products faster, reduce manual input, and lower the barrier to listing product. The most effective way to use it is: upload a clear main image + add key detail images + provide a short text description + perform manual review before publication.
  1. Upload the main image first: Let the system recognize the product itself first
  2. Add detail images: Complete information such as size, material, and hang tags
  3. Add one short note: For example, color, material, style, or use scenario
  4. Review the title and category first: If these two are correct, later generation is usually more stable
  5. Perform manual review after generation: Focus on brand, attributes, price, inventory, and compliance information

VIII. Frequently asked questions

Q1: Can I use it by uploading only images without adding text?

Yes. Text is not required, but if the product information is relatively complex, adding text makes it easier to generate accurate results.

Q2: Why does the system ask me to add certain types of images?

This is because some products cannot be fully and accurately recognized from the main image alone. Adding images such as size charts, care labels, and material labels usually helps the system generate product content more accurately.

Q3: What should I do if the generated title or category is incorrect?

You can edit it manually at any time. We recommend correcting the title and category first before continuing with the rest of the listing process.

Q4: Can I publish directly as soon as generation is complete?

Not necessarily. You still need to review and complete information such as price, inventory, logistics, and compliance before publishing after everything is confirmed.
