TikTok for Shopify: Enhanced Sync for Product Detail Pages

Overview

To create a consistent experience between Shopify and TikTok Shop, we're enhancing the way your product detail pages sync. Additional product information (e.g. product description, images, size charts) and design elements will be copied to TikTok Shop. Restrictions may apply.
Note: This enhancement is available to select product pages. If you do not see your Shopify product descriptions, images, and size charts updated on TikTok Shop after March, 20, 2025, it may be due to a system issue.
How to opt outYou may opt out of this enhanced sync before March 20, 2025. Go to your Shopify Admin > Products > click "Do not sync". If no action is taken, your pages will be automatically updated.

Q: How do I know if my products are included in this enhancement?
A: You will see a notification in Shopify Admin > Products and receive an email with details about the update if your products are included.
Q: Why has my TikTok Shop product page(s) been updated?
A: We automatically copied your Shopify product descriptions, images, and size charts to your TikTok Shop to keep your product pages consistent and enhance the shopping experience.
Q: What information will be copied from my Shopify store?
A: We will copy additional product information (e.g. product description, images, and size charts) and design elements (e.g. custom themes) from your Shopify product detail pages.
Q: What information will not be copied from my Shopify store?
A: This excludes the product title, main image, SKU and price information, shipping information, after-sales information, and "You May Also Like" modules.
Q: Why is some content missing from my Shopify product page(s) on TikTok Shop?
Q: If I update product description, images, and/or size charts in Shopify, will it automatically update on TikTok Shop?
A: Yes, changes made in Shopify will be automatically updated on TikTok Shop. It must be supported by TikTok Shop and comply with content guidelines. If there are issues, please contact us or your Account Manager if applicable.
Q: How do I revert to my original TikTok Shop product page?
A: You must manually update in your Shopify Admin > Products or in TikTok Shop Seller Center > Products > Manage Products.
Q: Will this affect products not included in this update?
A: No, products not selected will continue to sync as they always have.
