TikTok for Shopify: TTS Sponsored Promotion Orders

Overview

This update enables orders from TTS-sponsored promotions (which include TTS-subsidized discounts) to sync with Shopify. This new format allows Shopify's first-party sellers to reconcile these orders accurately in their accounting systems.

How It Works

When you receive an order that includes a TTS-sponsored promotion, it will be processed in Shopify and displayed as follows:

1. Transaction 1: This entry represents the amount the customer has paid.
2. Transaction 2: This entry details the discount applied from the TTS promotion.
3. Order Notes: For clarity and tracking, a note will be added to each order specifying the details of these transactions.
4. Reconciliation: The 'Total' and 'Paid' amounts on the order details page in Shopify will be displayed, streamlining your review and reconciliation process.
