With this new feature, your existing Product Videos from Shopify can automatically sync to your TikTok for Shopify app. Once synced, videos can be automatically or manually published to your TikTok account, as Shoppable Videos based on your configured posting schedule.

General Sync Rules

  1. We scan your Shopify store to identify products that have associated videos.
  2. A Shoppable Video must include both a video and an anchor link that directs TikTok users to the product detail page. To successfully publish a video to your TikTok account as a Shoppable Video, the following requirements must be met:
    1. Product Requirements
      1. The product with video on your Shopify store must be live on TikTok Shop.
      2. The product must have inventory greater than zero.
    2. Content Requirements
      1. The content must comply with our content policy guidelines.
  3. We will publish the product and its associated video as a Shoppable Video.

How It Works

Prerequisites

You must have one TikTok or TikTok Marketing account linked to your Shop account.

Auto Posting

  • By default, 1–5 videos are scheduled to be posted daily at 12:00 PM (GMT-8). This can be changed on Shop Settings page.
  • Syncing runs continuously—new eligible videos are automatically detected and added to your posting schedule.
  • Videos are published automatically based on your daily posting schedule.
  • You can update your posting times, remove a video from the schedule, or edit a video detail at any time on Manage Synced Videos page.
  • If a Shoppable Video for a product has already been published to your TikTok account, any additional videos associated with that same product will not be added to the posting schedule.

How to Enable Auto-Post

  1. Go to Shopify → TikTok for Shopify App
  2. Navigate to Shop Management → Shoppable video → Manage synced videos
  3. Toggle Auto-Publish Videos ON
  4. Click Link TikTok Account and select your TikTok Shop account
  5. Configure your desired posting settings:
    • Videos per day
    • Posting time(s)
    • Time zone
  6. Click Save
