Introduction: What is LIVE Price Match Guarantee?

During Deal for You Days from July 7 - July 19, 2025, TikTok Shop sellers who opt-in will be offering a LIVE Price Match Guarantee on specific campaign products registered for the Deal for You Days Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale Campaign. If a customer finds a lower price online, they can apply for a partial refund from the seller for up to 7 days after the campaign ends.
Benefits of LIVE Price Match Guarantee:

• Builds trust and transparency: Buyers can feel more confident purchasing during LIVE sessions, knowing they’ll be refunded the price difference if a lower price is found within 7 days—either on TikTok, brand’s official store or competitor platforms (conditions apply). This increases conversion and reduces purchase hesitation.
• Boosts conversion in LIVE: The price match label, prominently displayed during flash sales across LIVE product cards, PDPs, and carts, drives urgency and reassures buyers they’re getting the best deal—leading to stronger purchase intent and improved seller sales performance.
• Streamlined refund process: If customers find a lower price, they can easily submit a request with proof. TikTok’s customer service handles verification and partial refunds, minimizing friction for both parties and reducing dispute risk.
• Promotes long-term loyalty: By protecting the buyer’s purchase price and highlighting trustworthy merchants, the program helps build a positive, reliable reputation for both sellers and TikTok LIVE overall.

Please note that the LIVE Price Match Guarantee does not apply to normal seller LIVE flash sales. It only applies to the Deal for You Days Campaign Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale (or particular monthly campaign for trial), which is a campaign promotion between TikTok, the seller, and the creator.
"LIVE Price Match Guarantee" tag will appear on product card, product pin during LIVE, PDP, cart, checkout, and order list details. Clicking on the tag will lead to pop-up with more details of LIVE Price Match Guarantee.

Introduction: What is Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale?

Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale is a type of campaign, wherein sellers and creators can utilize co-funded flash sales during planned campaign LIVEs. Sellers and creators can enjoy a boost in conversion rates and GMV through LIVE flash sales. Co-funded promotions are discounts funded by sellers and TikTok Shop together.
Please note that co-funded LIVE flash sales can only be utilized if sellers and/or creators have registered for the relevant product campaign and key LIVE campaign and by going LIVE through registered campaign.
Note: Platform subsidy is dependent on campaign strategy and is not guaranteed for all products and full duration of campaign.

Process Overview: Enabling Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale

How to view scheduled LIVEs and Flash Sale prices?

[For Sellers Only] Via Seller Center

1. Go to Seller Center > Marketing > Campaigns > Manage Your Campaigns

2. In the Campaigns Tab, Filter for "LIVE campaigns"

3. Click of "View Session" to see details of planned livestream. Click "Go to LIVE Manager" to view schedule LIVE session in Live Manager

4. Go to "LIVE events" to see scheduled livestreams. Click on "View console" for more functionality

How to activate LIVE Flash Sale?

1. In LIVE console, click on "+ Add" button and "Add LIVE Flash sale"

Note: You can only add Flash Sale for ongoing livestreams

2. In LIVE console, you can see "Co-funded" tag for products that are co-funded. You can also filter all co-funded products by clicking on "Funding Source" filter and select "Co-funded".
3. Click "Set up" button to begin adding product to Flash Sale

4. After clicking "Set up" button, you will be able to view Flash Sale price, including both seller and TikTok Shop-funded subsidies.

Note: Price for co-funded cannot be changed once registered and approved

5. Fill in the inventory of the SKUs of the selected product that you want to set up. You can fill in the inventory individually or in batches. If you don't want to sell a specific SKU this time, simply leave the input value blank.

Setting a purchase limit can be done for individual SKUs or in batches, enabling you to limit the quantity of products an individual buyer can purchase for the sale.
If you'd like to batch edit your Flash Sale items, you can adjust based on percentage or quantity.

6. After you've selected the products and batch quantities as needed, fill in the flash sale duration, countdown time

You'll receive a confirmation message once flash sales have been set up. You can either add the Flash Sale to your LIVE immediately or save it for later.
In some cases, you may receive an error message when attempting to complete the set-up. Address the displayed reason for failure and try to set up the Flash Sale again.

7. Once you are LIVE and the Flash Sale products are added to your shopping bag, press start to begin the Flash Sale countdown. Pin the product to get more attention and focus on the Flash Sale for better conversion.

8. You'll be able to keep track of the countdown from the shopping bag so that you can build up anticipation and energy ahead of the sale start time.

9. If you change your mind during the 'preheat' countdown, you can click the end button to end the flash sale in the second confirmation pop-up, or click the delete button to end the flash sale and remove the product from the shopping bag. The Flash Sale will end once the sale duration has concluded.

How to edit and duplicate a LIVE Flash Sale?

You can edit a Flash Sale by clicking Edit settings to modify your settings through the same set up process. Release allocation means removing the Flash Sale allocation - you can click the trashcan icon to do this, as well.
Once you have added a Flash Sale sale to your shopping bag, click the edit icon to open up the Edit LIVE Flash Sale drawer.
Duplicating a Flash SaleOnce your LIVE Flash Sale has ended, if we detect that you still have sufficient inventory and can still create a Flash Sale, you will see the option to duplicate the flash sale or click the lightning bolt to enter the creation flow described above.
Clicking the duplicate button lets you directly set the inventory of the SKU you want to sell this time in the pop-up window. We will automatically fill the remaining available inventory directly into the allocated inventory box, and you can choose to edit all information and submit it for creation.
You can also decide whether you want to duplicate and start the flash sale immediately or simply duplicate for future use.

Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale FAQs

If a product is included in Co-funded Flash Live Sale as well as other product discounts, which pricing will be effective?

• Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale has absolute priority, other product-level subsidies will not be effective, including campaign price, platform product incentive, co-funded coupon, seller discount, seller flash sale.
• Exceptions: Platform coupons and Seller Coupons can be used on top of Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale pricing.

I'm a seller. Can I participate in both Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale and my own livestream flash sale?

• Once a Co-funded LIVE Flash Sale's product grouping is approved, sellers can no longer create a Seller Flash Sale (including Seller LIVE Flash Sale and Creator Flash Sale).
• Since co-funded LIVE Flash Sale has absolute priority at the pricing rule level, other product-level subsidies will not be effective. Therefore, it is necessary to manually ensure the competitiveness of the current price. Otherwise, there is a potential risk that the price consumers see directly might not be lower than in other areas.'

What is the duration of the Price Match Guarantee?

During the Deal for You Days 2025 campaign and within 7 days after the campaign ends, sellers maintain the price guarantee for co-funded live flash sales campaign products, specifically. These are flash sales that are only available during LIVES that are funded by TikTok and the seller.

How does Price Match Guarantee Work?

After a customer places an order for a co-funded live flash sale campaign product during Deal for You Days 2025, the customer can contact customer service and fill out a form with evidence of a lower price found on TikTok or other official stores.
You must provide the following:

1. Price comparison product's url
2. Comparative product name
3. Compare the prices of goods
4. The total amount of price guarantee

Please provide a screenshot as proofAfter a customer service agent or our system reviews the request, a notification of a partial refund or rejection will be sent to the customer.
Sellers will also receive a notification and can dispute the Price Match Guarantee if necessary.

What is not included?

Special products, special promotions (such as new customer coupons gifts, clearance, etc.), as well as price changes caused by factors beyond the seller's control (such as platform/channel subsidizes) are not eligible.

I'm a seller. Will I be notified of Price Match Guarantee applications? Can I dispute it?

Yes, you will receive a notification in the TikTok Shop Seller Center and you can initiate a dispute which will be reviewed by our customer service agents.
