Campaign Trends Feature

Campaign Trends is a new feature in Seller Center that helps sellers discover and leverage trending hashtags on TikTok to grow traffic and sales.
A trend is a keyword or hashtag (e.g., #MothersDayGifts, #WorkFromAnywhere) that is gaining traction across TikTok content and shopping behavior.
With this feature, sellers can:

📈 Understand the trend context, performance, and lifecycle🔍 Apply trending keywords to product titles to improve discoverability
🛍️ Participate in related campaigns tied to these trends
In short, Campaign Trends connects TikTok's hottest trends with your products to boost discoverability and conversion.
🚀 Increase product visibility via trending search: Trending keywords are actively searched and promoted on TikTok. Adding them to your product titles helps your products appear in search results, trending keyword flows, and content-driven discovery.

🧠 Make decisions using real data signals: Each trending keyword / hashtag is backed by data such as popularity score, trend growth, GMV performance, and related content, allowing you to make informed decisions instead of relying on guesswork.

How It Works

In Seller Center, navigate to Marketing > Campaign.
Click on the "Campaign trends" tab.

Under Recent Trends, you will see the top 3 to 7 trends recommended for you.
For each trend, you will see:
  1. A popularity score, i.e. # of views on related content
  2. Description that platform has added to give you context on the trend and reason for recommendation
  3. Trending period, assigned based on estimated lifecycle of the trend
  4. Related products count
  5. Daily GMV of related products

Scroll down to "Join the trend" section and tab "Title hashtags".
Click on "Update title hashtag" to add trending hashtag to the product title of the specific product.
You can also select multiple products and use "Bulk add title hashtags" to update multiple product titles in one go.

Navigate to the "Join trending campaigns" tab to view all campaigns that are related to the trending hashtag.
Click on the "Register" button to get re-directed to the campaign registration page and begin the registration process.

FAQs

  1. How are trends selected?
Trends are identified based on TikTok trend data including:
  • Trending keywords
  • Rising search terms
  • Content engagement signals
They are reviewed by the platform before being shared with sellers.
  1. How many trends will I see?
You will see a limited number of high-priority trends (up to ~7) at a time, based on relevance and platform distribution.
  1. Can I remove a trending hashtag from my product title?
Yes, you can remove the trending hashtag from the product title at any time. You can do this through the "Title hashtags" tab by clicking on "Remove".
  1. What happens when the trending period ends?
Trending keywords / hashtags are automatically removed from product titles.
  1. Do I need to participate in campaigns to benefit?
No, you can still benefit from organic search traffic and trend-based discovery by only updating product titles. However, campaigns may provide additional exposure and incentives.
